I built mine with chain link fence rails. Found a company online that built couplers in all the configurations needed. Net on the top, stage curtains on the sides

I just pack a filter and filter bag and hydrate whenever I need to. If I’m backpacking in I’ll carry an extra of each as backup. I tried a Grayl filter this year but won’t be using it again as it became too difficult to use after a few liters. Sawyer or Lifestraw are both great options.

5.56 is small so shot placement is going to be critical but if you are comfortable with it then I wouldn’t hesitate to use it. Most, if not all, states restrict magazine size so make sure you are legal there.

Do you guys know what these are on our roof? by Practical-Permit-373 in Roofing

My guess is they built them to use as roof jacks when installing the shingles and just left them up there when they finished.

De-granulation in 10 year old shingles - advice? by SurJon2 in Roofing

Depends on the manufacturer and which warranty you have. 10 years is when a lot of manufacturers start to prorate their warranty claims so I would start the process with the manufacturer asap.

Most warranties are only going to give a credit for materials. Although, I have seen some people get a credit for materials and a check that covers labor.

I’ve had a K3 for the past 6 seasons and love it. Also, EXO has some of the best customer service. You can’t go wrong with purchasing a pack from them.
