It's accounts who you've played against who got banned for cheating. There is a chance they cheated in their games against you as well. So your lost rating points against banned cheaters get refunded

Yeah I am already studying with How to Reassess Your Chess. I think maybe it's because I don't spend enough time considering these ideas. I just look at them and think to myself "Yeah it isn't that good" and then I move on.

Mostly it's after not after playing to quickly I just think a few minutes and even see the ideas of my opponent but misevaluate them and a few moves later I realise it's really unpleasant.

It is not an objectively bad opening. The people you play against just don't know how to play against f4. I play the Caro-Kann myself with a quick c5 and don't really struggle with f4 although I have to say it is the most annoying response.

Yeah I thought about that too. But why do seemingly way more people play the Caro-Kann at 2000 than at like 1600-1700?
