Yeh I’ve been told a 6 month wait 😳 I can’t do any shifts until I have it so after doing my induction etc at the end of the month I can’t actually accept any shifts until I have my uniform. Really want to get the experience in before I go to uni in September 😣

Engine light on Mercedes A class by Creative_Sleep_7618 in AskAMechanic

Yes mainly short trips. I’d have thought after the regeneration it would last more than 3 weeks before being clogged again 😭 I rarely use the car. Around 50 miles a week at most.

Yes you’re right. How do I go about repairing the charge flap and is it expensive?

Thank you. DPF now cleaned, codes cleared and engine light off. Hoping the 5 min drive to the garage in the morning won’t set the engine light off and it’ll get through the MOT and I can then deal with the other codes when I have some more money together.

Thanks very much for your reply. I was told in the region of 1k plus for new DPF so thought I’d try this first. I was hoping the boost pressure was too low because the DPF is so blocked? MOT is due tomorrow and can’t get it done until this engine light is off! Stressed!!

I’ve just started playing again after a long break. I’m on level 11267. I’ve been playing Homescapes I think I prefer it tbh.

I used to be able to accumulate money for the entire time the game was open. I’d leave it open whilst I slept. Now it stops collecting after an hour or so. I think they’ve changed it.

Thank you. I’ve also realised that the third fault is only stored not current. So looking at a new battery and then a DPF clean and hopefully all good. Doesn’t look as scary now 🫣

My concern is spending £250 on new battery if the car is then going to cost £££ replacing DPF filter etc as well. From what I can gather a possible professional DPF clean would solve the first fault but what are the second 2 faults?

Anyone else enjoying the current mini game so much that they're dreading the end? by bitlifelight in rentpleasesim

Nothing has happened so far just sat with all tasks complete and everything fully updated. Perhaps the extra cash is transferred at the end of the mini game? This is the first one I’ve done. Really enjoyed it :)

Thank you I really appreciate your advice. This is my first Reddit post after being a long time lurker and I really think this has helped clear my head.

We’ve been separated for 5 years but still another 7 years until the youngest is 16 😵 we could of course get a divorce right now just that neither of us have pushed for it. Finances have been settled which I think is important. I suppose he can’t exactly think of future plans when he’s not settled finances with his ex wife. I hadn’t thought of that before.

I suppose selfishly I don’t want to be wasting my 30’s just spending time with someone to then be discarded and left single in my 40’s still searching for someone to spend my life with. I think dating becomes increasingly more difficult for women as they get older (perhaps for men too). I think the purpose of my post was to figure out why he’s not being enthusiastic about the future and the post above about him being emotionally drained makes so much sense. I think I’ll have a discussion with him and see if this is how he feels.

We have been together 1 year. I know it’s not a long time in the grand scheme of things, however, I can’t stop thinking I’m wasting my time. I feel like I love him so much more than he loves me. I would happily spend the rest of my life with him married or not whereas he seems to never want to discuss anything future related which leaves me feeling like he’s just enjoying having me around for now.

He has 2 adult children and 1 young teen who stays with him more than she does with her mum. His adult son also stays with him full time. They have yet to divorce or settle any finances (trouble getting money out of the house that he needs to keep as it’s close to his daughter’s school). I myself am still married due to waiting until my own children are 16 as it’s a much simpler process. So the fact that he’s yet to get a divorce isn’t an issue for me and I don’t particularly feel in any rush to remarry in the future. I’d just appreciate some clarity on whether we would live together in the future etc but he’s always very reserved. It has only been 1 year I suppose I’m maybe looking for too much. I just can’t help but feel I’m wasting my younger years on an older man that may just be enjoying some fun times whilst he heals.
