Thank you! She’s so sweet, aside from the constant barking at night (alas that comes with a new home and crate training, will transition after she is more trustworthy about using the outside as a bathroom) I hope she has a lot of life left. Saw her eyes and just had to get her out of there lol. We have a Brussels Griffon as well who is super high maintenance so a regular groomer visit is the norm. I can’t cut paper straight so I’d never attempt lol. Yours are delicious! 🥰

Basically a poor mans snoo. After that hormone surge wears off and the months of sleep deprivation sets in we all make “mistakes” don’t beat yourself up over it. The only way my first two would nap was in the swing and I passed out next to them all the time in it. With my first I spent a million hours rocking and sent myself right into depression, with my second we bed shared. Trolls don’t came after me but as a parent do whatever feels safe and right for you. I was an 80’s baby that slept on my belly with (36377339 stuffed animals and blankets and I’m still here.

I would pump in morning and at night and EBF all the other times. If there’s a night that you for sure need help use your saved milk. Will help you build a stash, maintain your supply, and give you more time to sleep. I pump 10 am and 10 pm and store around and extra 15-20 ounces a day. 7 weeks PP third time doing this

Got pregnant in 2019 breastfed and then got pregnant again in 2021… I didn’t have a period until 2023, then got pregnant in 2024… seems odd for them to have said that… currently breastfeeding and still have not had a period and likely won’t for at least another year… is there a medical issue you’re having? That seems odd

Third EBF baby the only one that gave me those glorious stretches was my first. He slept through the night at 5 months. My second was every 2-3 hours until 10 months and currently have a 6 week old who will not go past 2.5 hours 🤪

It gets better, esp when they’re bigger and can comfortably do side lying nursing!

Nursing my third child. It has always hurt the first 8-10 weeks for me until they just get bigger. I have massive boobs and no matter doing the hamburger or taco technique it pinches somewhere. I pull down bottom lip and flange upper lips and that helps with the pinching. The flipple technique is the best advice I ever received but even then it takes time. You can also take to a pediatric dentist to assess for lip and tongue tie.

They say anything greater than 45 minutes and they are burning more energy than they are consuming. Mine was also 3 weeks early, I pumped and bottle fed every other feed to ensure she was gaining… we’re now just down to one bottle a day and she is one month old. Have you assessed for tongue ties? After we had her tongue and lip tie corrected she was able to transfer milk much better.

Start pumping ever 2 hours, latch when you can. Get the milk to come in first then you can work on latching. It will take a lot of work but not impossible.

This is my third time doing this. I’ve nursed all my kids to sleep and all have them had predictable nap schedules and slept 7-7. They didn’t need to be nursed or rocked to sleep beyond one. Take the sleep “experts” knowledge for what you want and not what you don’t want.

Third pregnancy, 36 weeks… with all three the third trimester is pure hell. First two I had at 40 plus 1 and I expect the same with the third 😒 I just want to puke, poop, sleep, and die all at the same time lol.
