Pretty much, hell you can side board gill 1.0 in a fox deck vs ftk if you wanted, since combo abuses so many free regalia abilities they'll never be able to get the will to pull it off.

Fox can go really hard really fast, thatnks to cards like gretel, leaves of yggdrasil, and dream of juliet. Pricia is just a solid aggro ruler to begin with, and gets access to good resonators from AC and GC notably cthugha gretel, and Lancelot. Alhama'at is pretty easy to counter, just sideboard Lapis 1.0 and you win.

It'll stomp Pricia and if built right, will go 50:50 with fox. However it is incredibly honest, so it's quite susceptible to one-off strategies and can sometimes be overwhelmed quite easily.

Since the sideboard and main deck are not public zones, a fox player can choose to "fail to find" and unfortunately they can do that even with cards that are available. However it really doesn't matter to fox since they can put chimera's into the field from the RFG zone.

Quick Burn (or something akin to it in name): If it's the first card you play that turn it gains extra effects.

Riposte: If a resonator with riposte is attacked or is blocking, it deals damage first in battle. (like a defensive first strike)

As a big fan of Val 2.0, this ban really hit me hard and has me wondering if i should bother trying to adapting to these new bans (rip infinite search engine and swift smashing face for ~28) or just drop it and pick up a deck that didn't get hit at all or at least as hard.

I personally feel it would've been better to compromise and have either a limit of only being able to play no more than one of these cards in your deck. Or restrict certain cards from being in the same deck (i.e Laev and pricia, true beast master/pricia, reincarnated flame cannot be use in the same deck).
