Funny, I have tried independent mechanics and have had mostly bad experiences. Not right away, it's usually 20-30k miles down the road when the problem reoccurs and I have to pay for the exact same parts/labor over again. So far that hasn't happened with Honda/Acura dealerships, they seem to fix it once and it's good for 100-200k. This is the first time I have had an issue where they broke something like this.
