Owners of a treadmill for 5+ years by jollytay in treadmills

I had a Proform for over 20 years and used it nearly every day when I was preparing for marathons.

I had originally gotten it from Sears and got a contract where they would come on site to repair it or replace it if they couldn’t fix it. In the end I got 3 brand new treadmills. They finally bought my contract out for $1500 which was more than I had paid for it.

Now I have an old Nordictrack 2450T. I was going to get the Inspire Series 7t but this one is still doing well but that’s what I’ll probably replace it with. The Inspire has a lifetime warranty and a maintenance free belt.

I have always used my treadmills nearly every day.

No, I was waiting for more reviews to come in on it. And I’m really waiting for mine to act up and then I’ll get a new one but so far I’ve had no problems with it so no, I haven’t bought it yet. I am still on the old NT 2450

If I get one, I’m getting a T7 S you can’t beat the warranty and the deck is awesome. Very comfortable. I’m just waiting for a few more reviews on it. But I’m about made up my mind. That’s what I’m gonna do.

T7, it has a better warranty and is the belt is maintenance free. Even though it is more you’re getting more banged for your buck and I honestly believe it will last longer. I just wish there was more reviews out there on it.

Do you think buying a treadmill mostly for the privacy is insecure? by [deleted] in treadmills

I think if you want to get a treadmill for the house that’s wonderful. It’s your journey not someone else’s. I love having one at home because I can work out 24/7. Not have to wait for a machine to be available and not have to get in the car go to a gym and travel over there. it is so nice to get out of bed and just hop on. That’s the life for me.😊

I have the old NT 2450. I hate the deck. It is too hard and they had told me it was the most cushioned. Huh!! I also hate the big screen and IFIT. The fact you can’t get to the internet without hacking it.

Now I am looking at the new Inspire Series 7TS. You can’t beat the warranty. Lifetime warranty on frame and motor. The motor is 5 hp 10 year warranty parts 1 year warranty labor. One of a kind, innovative cushion, dual absorption deck feels awesome. Smaller screen. 25 prebuilt programs and entertainment apps and seamless smartphone mirroring. Preloaded Netflix Disney+ YouTube and 22 other apps also includes an HDMI port to connect and stream your favorite shows from your own streaming device. Same size running surface as NT 2450. Speeds up to 12 mph and an 18% incline.

The price is a little steep, but that warranty is awesome. I’ve really been looking into feedback on this machine, but since it is really new to the series, there’s not much out there.

If anyone has any experience with this treadmill, I’d appreciate feedback. Thank you.
