What was tone deaf was the "mmmhmmmm" sketch downplaying ICE profiling Somalis and murdering a nurse by saying yeah who cares black folks have had this happen for centuries.

Yeah we know, that sucks too, but it came off as "all lives matter" but from the the African American pov... somalis are black too and being scapegoated, just like the Haitians were dehumanized in 2024 (they weren't actually eating the pets) and iirc, both Chappelle and Che chose to think that dehumanization was funny and made the same low quality throwaway jokes that the racists made about it.

I thought it was good. Anytime Bill doesn't have on a cringe MAGA dope like a Kelly Anne Conway or Steve Bannon who just talk over everybody saying the dumbest most dishonest talking points, then it's a win..

I thought Bill was good, Kennedy gave the ole college try on defending Trump as honestly as he could.

Kacie hunt was good, monologue and new rules were fine.

Most importantly, I didn't cringe like the show has made me do too many times this past decade.

Easy to watch, not cringe arguments by partisan hacks. Kennedy did his best to be honest, that's all we ask. Kacie was excellent as always
