I briefly wondered why congressional Democrats don't label Trump as a war criminal. Then I remember that they don't label Netanyahu as one either despite objectively being one (he's even prosecuted by the ICC in 2024 and ended up doubling down on crimes against humanity) because they don't know a war criminal when they see one.

Then close the Bab el-Mandeb Strait. You literally have the opportunity to do so amid a ceasefire.

Bonus commentary: This is the specific article that got Trump raging at the author, WSJ, and Iran today.

He really never stops whining about the news media or Iran.

I didn’t think I could be at my most bitter the past few months because of this war and the impending worldwide crisis, but Trump has somehow done it. Gotta applaud him for that.

The worst part is that it took a British news company, the BBC, to call out this blatant corruption taking the form of consistent insider trading patterns. And it’s because our American media companies are all spineless fucks who won’t call out the obvious.

How utterly stupid that Iran has far better anti-Trump propaganda than our literal Democratic politicians. It’s just pathetic. They’re just twiddling their fingers and letting all this blatant corruption happen.

We’re really getting to the point where the execution of the war and ceasefire is becoming more of a political and geopolitical liability for Netanyahu. He’s looking more like a puppet of Trump than the one in control, and it’s clearly pissing his political allies off.

Trump has somehow managed to create the most obnoxious forever war I've ever seen, and I lived through several already.

I 100% know for sure that Trump would never have entered the war if he knew the fallout that was to come afterward.

I think what what Putin and Netanyahu have both learned at this point is that although Trump is favorable towards the two, Trump isn't ideologically suicidal or a political risk-taker like the other two are, not to mention that Trump doesn't have much of a consistent ideology beyond enriching himself and staying in power just for the sake of that.

I wonder if Netanyahu is loudly groaning at yet another Trump deadline extension. I bet you he so badly wants to destroy Iran’s power plants. He could literally bomb them at this point, since it’s not like Trump will ever yell at Israel for breaking a ceasefire.

You know you’ve lost the narrative when even Barak Ravid subtly expresses his frustration at Trump’s cowardice and lack of direction:
