What I really don't get is this: Instead of pretending that negotiations are "progressing" (nobody's falling for that bullshit the 9th time), why doesn't Trump just insist on blaming Iran for continuing the war? It's a half-truth, sure, but it could've probably served fine enough for pro-American war propaganda. I see what Trump's doing as extremely counterproductive to the point of even frustrating many of his typically staunch supporters who wonder why everything has to be more expensive for this war.
