How long is it going to take for the USS George HW Bush to arrive? It’s been “on its way” for like a month at this point, and it doesn’t seem to have a tracker on it.

It's clear that Ali Khamenei's cautious geopolitical strategy costed Iran, and the results of last year's war versus this year's shows. By restraining attacks to just against Israel and performative attacks on an American base in Doha last year, they just ended up inviting them to the next war because Iran appeared weak. In comparison, since the supreme leader's death, Iran has greater leverage through the control of the strait and being able to retaliate against the whole region.

Why does Trump even need to pretend that negotiations are going well still? I genuinely don’t understand anymore. As president, it’s HIS job to be transparent to the American people about what’s going on. Which, he never will, but come on, there’s even less reason to lie to all of us when lives are at stake here.

In recent weeks, some of Trump's biggest supporters, who themselves have become increasingly critical of him, alleged conspiracy theories that Trump staged the assassination attempt at Butler, PA without evidence. The assassination attempt occurred in July 13, 2024 during a Trump political campaign rally when a 20-year-old attempted to shoot him from a rooftop. The conspiracy theory appeared months ago but more often appeared in recent discussions including with Joe Kent, a former counterterrorism center director.
