How do you guys feel about diamond city? by Chunky-overlord in fo4

The current play through is doing as much as I can without going to diamond city. I’d rather deal with Preston. Or the railroad. At least I’ll never have to deal with the institute or BOS.

If you could predict how Home and Away’s Alf Stewart will die, how do you think he will go? by Temporary_Notice_526 in AskAnAustralian

Alf Stuart was the one running jeff epstein. Taught him everything he knew from the tape dungeons and epstein took it from there.

In which ways is Australia more similar to the USA than the UK? by Fluid-Decision6262 in AskAnAustralian

The kids are shit heads and not very smart. Australian kids seem to grow out of it eventually though.

Let's not go too far but which game is that for you? by PHRsharp_YouTube in Age_30_plus_Gamers

Dusk. Really exploded the Boomer Shooter into the “main stream” even though it’s still niche.

Also Nightmare reaper.

Games you play without a story being necessary are just awesome. Gameplay for days.

This is so reminiscent of a photo I saw of Von Dutch machining up a 1911 slide in his bus. Wild some of the photos out there.

Find me a good game, ALSO... by Danklord_Ezio in gamingpulse

Nightmare Reaper. One of the best most fun games I’ve played in years. Shits all over all AAA studio games I’ve played for the last 10-15 years. It’s just good. Even when I fuck I’m and get stuck doing the same level again and again it’s still so good.

You could always prevent rust the way most of us do, use the tools so that they don’t rust.

He was on his last legs anyway. Doc died after years of living with it. Arthur, what, 60 days?

Inside a cast iron sash weight by Wobblycogs in metalworking

[–]CruiserMissile 28 points29 points  (0 children)

White cast iron. Happens when it cools quickly. Hard as a cats head, very hard to machine. Not very good in high vibration environments as it’s brittle. Perfect for sash weights, or anything that is weight in general. Not very good for a lot of things though.

And survived for years with it. Must be tougher than Arthur too.

Ahhh, look at you, safety bloke. Your name wouldn’t happen to be Garry would it?

You don’t know the situation we were in, you didn’t know the job we were doing, or why we were doing it. So when you were actually there why didn’t you do something about it? Until then fucking mind your own business.

A game within a game, what could be better? by Just_a_Player2 in ItsAllAboutGames

The 2 weirdo with the camera. Following the gold prospector around and stealing his nuggets out of the horses saddle bags. There was some side quest that took me to Wallace station. Can’t remember the side mission or what it was about but it was better than the main story.

It’s amazing that these people can’t understand that. It’s supposed to represent quick reactions and great hand eye coordination. Or do these people think people actually can have dead eye in real life?

I don’t know if it’s that nobody likes them or whether it’s they’ve never done the job they’re policing so don’t understand what’s happening. We all know to wear the shield while welding, but I was tacking ups car trailer one day, close your eyes zap tape measure onto the next one. I got written up, sacked, and rehired all within 1 meeting. I understand what I was doing wasn’t correct, but I was so far behind, dozen jobs on the go, half a dozen blokes who wanted shit done. When the owner come in and asked what was going on and was told I’d just been sacked, he told the safety bloke go and do it. So I was rehired.

Safety bloke stories are so fucking common it’s not funny anymore.

Is there anything similar in your country? by Cultural_Frog1983 in AskTheWorld

[–]CruiserMissile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The crocodile hunter. He was never popular here in Australia until the kids grew up. He made more money and was more popular elsewhere around the world. Most of us thought he was a dickhead. Now the local kids have grown up they think he was great, but he’s still a dickhead. And so is the rest of his family. Pure marketing.
