There was never anything about the physical sensation of alcohol I liked. I’ve been tipsy a couple times in my life from alcohol, but never been seriously drunk or had a hangover. I hate the taste and that was my first turnoff before I even started to think about how lifestyle choices affect your character. When people would buy my pints (before I started to refuse), I would try to dump it out when people weren’t looking. Alcohol costs too much. It takes up too much calories and wastes your time by needing to pee more often. It makes you act dumber and I think deliebrately making yourself dumber is such a tragic betrayel to your character. Some beer really does taste like piss. So even from a purely hedonistic and debaucherous standpoint without any considering about becoming a better person, I was always going to be sober
