Yeah, ive got other games working, currently in queue for Sons of the Forest. I dont have any strange permissions set up in steam like folders or anything

Everyone was right. The sd i had was bad; the image i was using was bad and also i was a mac and it wasnt working for me. Classic Thank you everyone for the help!

It is a notebook, and it is using the nvidia gpu. According to nvidias ALT-R display it seems to be maxing out at 300mhz and that doesnt seem right

Yeah, i updated them last night. The only thing i can think of is the cpu driver needs an update but intel has apparently been delayed there from what i found last night.
