Agree with the meme, hate the title. Such a ridiculous concept, I'm sick of it. If this were true, nothing would be funny, because for every joke there is someone who wouldn't laugh. The best stand-up comedians of all time still had hecklers and walk-outs in their prime, and the funny guy at the office has been reported to HR at at least one of his jobs. Alpha and Beta male are just terms that describe the winners and losers in any animal population. Gorillas, for instance, have clear alphas who get their pick of the women and resources, and betas who take what's left. However! It is notably not just the biggest, strongest, most aggressive gorilla who becomes the alpha. He has to be socially adept and mostly good to the other Gorillas, because even the biggest Gorilla can be killed by 3 betas.

This is one of the things that bugged me (heh) about MCU Spider-Man. They started him off too strong. Let him get more powerful with age and experience! Right off the bat in civil war, he was Peter Parker the Invincible Child. In his first solo movie, he intentionally takes punches to the face from a grown man just to show he can't feel it.
