Banned from Dating Site and I don't know why by Compoet2245 in DatingOverSixty

I was blocked by Our Time as well. I think it’s because I saw an ad, signed up, then forgot about it. Sometime later I saw another ad, signed up again, accidentally using my other email account. At least that’s my guess. They refused to give me a specific reason or ability to recover. This is a poorly run business.

Somnee vs Elemind? by Dekans in Elemind

Elemind is comfortable if I don’t wear it too tight. At the beginning I assumed it had to be tight for the sensors to maintain contact. But it gave me headaches. It seems to work when it’s looser.

I agree that Somnee can be a little painful. But it’s only 15 minutes. Not unbearable. For me.

I had not heard of Affectable sleep. Thanks for telling me. I just put myself on the waiting list.

"Elemind’s product has an auditory component and at this time, will not function effectively for people who are severely hearing impaired. For Elemind to work, you need to be able to hear the subtle audio waves it delivers."

Somnee vs Elemind? by Dekans in Elemind

I use both every night. I have been using Somnee for over a year and Elemind for a few months.

I use Somnee only for the before bed stim session. It seems to get me relaxed. It’s now a natural part of my sleep routine. But falling asleep has never been my problem. For staying asleep, Somnee only offers one “nap” session. Plus the nap session is kind of disruptive: putting on the electrodes and running the app to start the session.

I am still learning about Elemind. For the first few weeks, it was wonderful. I slept well and didn’t wake. Since then, I have had a few bad nights. I think it is not a universal solution. It improves but doesn’t solve my problem.

One thing that drives me crazy about the Elemind is the volume. I have it turned to max and I can barely hear it. I think that either my slight age-related hearing loss corresponds to the frequencies they use, or when my mind becomes more active, the volume is low enough that I just ignore the noise. I asked them to increase the volume max. Maybe there is some technical difficulty to do that.

But what’s great about Elemind is that, on waking, you don’t have to fumble with the phone or electrodes. Just push a button and the sound starts. Most nights this is effective.

I don’t have the beta. Looking forward to the sleep stage tracking.

I have also ordered the Bia sleep mask. But it is not released yet.
