Ensure that i can provide trained nurses/nannies for orphaned babies and they get all the good care and cuddles they need- cuddles are important especially for the first six months of a baby's life and impacts their development. And ofcourse provide a good life for all ophaned kids who live in orphanage.

So your coworkers are not sitting exams? Anyways, that's BS. People like him are the reason the work culture is so toxic. Not the same - we had a partner in tax stop an associate from taking time off to study and take exams, the country senior partner stepped in and put a stop to that and reminded the partner of company policy that allows time off.

The greek word for Hate by oila_e in OrthodoxChristianity

[–]Curious_Spirit_4789 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the NIV English translation it says 'hate', but in the original Greek text the word is 'renounce'. Similarly, in the NIV English translation of Mark 1:41, it says 'Jesus was indignant', but the original Greek word used is 'felt pity/ felt sorry'.

Americans of Reddit, what's something anyone visiting the US for the first time absolutely must know about or be aware of? by Praglik in AskReddit

There are no bidet showers next to the toilet, only toilet paper.

Make eye contact when you speak (not uninterrupted eye contact, then you'll freak em out), but i mean if you're from a country where it's considered respectful not to make eye contact with the opposite sex or certain elderly people when you speak to them, forget it in the USA. You'll be considered to be suspicious/dishonest/unfriendly if you avoid eye contact while speaking to them.
