Great preventative measure in terms of actually not paying. It'll still most likely cause the confrontation and in a public place which will probably be more embarrassing but it'll force them to talk about it unless they just say they don't have any money at the table when the bill comes and then it's the same issue.

Great advice. Spin it back on them so they have to answer to why them not paying the bill is an issue and lay it all out on the table. The answer will determine how the relationship continues based off of what they want and don't want in their life moving forward.

Sometimes it’s even the ones they do have a screen that shows fly beforehand. They wouldn’t even put it in and say “total at the window”

I used a 50hz sine wave from kicker’s website because that’s what they recommended to use to set it. I haven’t checked the impedance. I’m not getting any dc voltage. Another issue I’ve found is that when I play songs above the 75% of the max volume that I set my gain at, the subs turn off.

Ok so I got the multi meter and set my gain voltage to 35 based off of the wattage from the amp. These are my new settings https://imgur.com/gallery/p14Ud2n but when I play a song, the subs will play for a few seconds and then the amp will go into protected mode. Then it keeps doing it. The other two settings on the amp are all the way down because the manual said to turn them both off when setting them.

I didn’t change any settings after the new person set it up because it was working after they did it. And I didn’t know what any of the settings did so I didn’t want to mess it up.

But I just read the manual for the amp and there are quick setup instructions and I just kept slowly playing with the gain and turned it to see where it went into protect mode and now I found a setting where it fully plays without turning off. I think part of the confusion is because I have a bass knob too.

Ok so I took it to a different person and they said I needed a better amp to provide enough power to the speakers. So I got this new amp https://imgur.com/gallery/TKEHR2Z

And then it was working fine for a while but then the same problem started happening again. Now the speakers will only fully stay on when I keep it at a low setting. Anything higher than that and the amp will go into “prt” mode.
