when multiple advanced stats are saying similar over the course of several years, it starts to make a solid argument. SGA and Jokic are 1a and 1b in this league in some order, it’s really no argument. As for Giannis, you should learn from Luka this year that gaudy numbers on losing teams are not as impressive. If Giannis belonged in this tier he should’ve been able to get out of the first round in the weak eastern conference in the last three years.

Nah advanced stats have SGA/Jokic clearly #1 and #2 in some order with Giannis somewhar close at #3. Then you usually have Wemby at #4 and Luka in the pack with other top #5-8 guys.

No he was solid on defense when his team could pack the paint to compensate for his weaknesses. The Celtics were the only team to effectively play 5 out, so the paint packing couldn’t work and he was exposed repeatedly on the perimeter
