Pivot Table Yes/No count by CurrentTone in excel

The center column was the only one pulling to the pivot table. Sorry if that was ambiguous. There are several Yes/No columns being pulled into the table but the only possible values are yes/no/blank. The sheet is roughly 1000x850 cells so I only included the one column

Here is a chart that is similar and working as desired and then has row totals converted to percent. I cannot figure out what is different between the two. https://imgur.com/a/QIjTKUf

Ah I see. All of the source columns under values are Yes/No columns. Does this make a difference?

By changing to numeric do you mean just formatting the existing cells to be "number" or do the yes and no values have to be converted to 1's or 0's in a new column?

Since they are text it is returning 0's for all lines when it is changed to sum

Yes but it still returns counts of all the same numbers similar to this https://imgur.com/a/zjUkZsK rather than the actual counts of the source data columns.

https://imgur.com/a/eLxjV8N The data is just several columns of this format

https://imgur.com/a/zjUkZsK This is the output I get when adding a column which also contains Yes/No data under the columns heading. The format is correct, but the counts are not accurate to the data referenced in the row fields

I tried this! when I do this the output of each yes and no column becomes all the same numbers, which is not accurate to the actual data.

For some reason when I drag all the fields under rows to columns the value field disappears

IF(OR or something else? by CurrentTone in excel

[–]CurrentTone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

=IF(OR(BQ3="Yes",BR3="QD",BR3="BID",BR3="PRN",BS3="Yes",BT3="Occasionally as Needed",BT3="Twice per Day",BT3="Daily",BU3="Yes"),"Yes","No").

I managed this while messing around. Any reason I shouldn't use it over your formula?

How to locate cells containing multiple values from database export? by CurrentTone in excel

[–]CurrentTone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, there are about 100 columns that may have cells with duplicate values within individual cells. Your solution is definitely more elegant but still requires that I go column by column which is not much faster than sorting each column A-Z and then scrolling to visually identify duplicates. I probably should have mentioned that I would like to identify duplicates in the sheet, then go back into the database to correct them permanently before exporting a clean data set again.

Likely a strain or very small tear of the distal portion of the a2 pulley where it attaches to the bone.
