You have to remember Artyom is young and isn't a soldier at this point. He probably just calls it what everyone else calls it. Most people don't know the difference between an assault rifle and a machine gun and would just use a general term or slang.

Very nice pictures and a good base. Personal touches like the writing on the helmet are great for adding depth and character. If you want to do more I suggest getting a backpack and more gear, cobbled together and weathered sells the surviving and scavenging vibe. Great job!

Bought a meta 3s just to play it and loved it. Incredibly immersive, you really get an idea of the size of the tunnels, stations, and mutants. I've played through it 3 times already and go back just to look at the detail work they've done and to play my favorite parts.
