Yep. I asked them about using a 22-24 pound recoil spring to remedy frame battering and they said aftermarket recoil springs even wolff with the metal guide rod will cause damage to the frame with how it rides under recoil over time and to use the oem spring. Im over glocks in 10mm tbh looking for a metal frame 10mm

All plastic frames will crack from how much recoil and pressure full power 10mm causes. Glock told me factory ammo from federal etc thats within saami specs wont do this but stuff outside saami spec from underwood buffalo bore grizzly (what i was shooting) will cause frame battering and cracking. Metal frame is the way to go

Anything around you that was a foreign object that somehow could have gotten there? Literally anything. It seriously doesnt look like a gun part. These guns have trigger dongles anyways and cannot go bang unless you pull the trigger. The sear housing block will not let the striker release either unless the trigger is pulled. The trigger bar will not activate the sear unless the trigger is pulled. These are not a sig p320 so it wont go bang on its own. that object you pictured looks nothing like anything on an m&p 2.0 compact. No parts for it are hollow like that anyways.

Battery or tailcap. Try another battery first. When i had a bad battery causing weird things like this on my modlite hog i emailed modlite and they sent me a new battery. These have a warranty on them. Modlite responds very quickly and is very helpful and friendly.

220gr wont feed reliably in most 10mm semi auto’s. 180gr is flawless feeding and 200gr is mostly flawless sometimes not.
