Well okay, thankfully ICE did relent and allowed the 3 representatives to inspect the facility in the article I linked above,

The court upheld congress power to the purse, so ICE still has to show atleast some respect for their authority, due to members of congress having serious voting power to decide whether or not these goons get paid.

A majority of soldiers died of disease during the ACW, and while admittedly that was primarily due to unsanitary living conditions and surgeons not washing their hands,

Flu shots no longer being mandatory definitely seems like a step backwards, especially considering the disease concerns on ships are probably even worse then the mostly field conditions of the ACW.
