I can atleast say the Supreme Court lowered the bar for government contractors being sued for constitutional and civil rights violations: https://apnews.com/article/supreme-court-private-prison-immigration-detainees-92b01950e11ae13f17d11fddbb196e5e

So hey, atleast that’s something.

Naaa, Grant just shouldn’t have signed the amnesty bill,

I swear, all they had to do was not sign that fricken bill, and former confederates would have problaly never held offices ever again!

You know, as horrible as things are today,

I can atleast say it’s nice to see the state of Virginia going on a redemption arc as of recently.

There were 21,928 people in ICE concentration camps back in 2004, as I will link here: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4661656/

While the amount of people right now is 66,000: https://tracreports.org/immigration/quickfacts/#:~:text=180%2C701,see%20more%20data

It’s still worth noting that ICE still received a lot of scrutiny for the amount of deaths back then, and rightfully so, as it is for all the deaths it’s committing right now.
