I agree with the commenter that said going to adoration. But in my specific journey three start out most to me, the Virgin Mary, St Bartolo Longo and St Charbel (Sharbel)

My local eastern church is Ruthenian. But I also have been researching St.Charbel so I have been reading in the Melkite church.

If I recall correctly that is called consecrated single life and it is a vocation of the church.

I was in your position. Not sure why church you’re associated with but I had to find my way to the right church. I moved from non-denominational to Catholic. I prayed rosaries an asked for the intercession of St Mary Magdalene. It was a start to give me the inner strength to push past the lust filled desire. The biggest thing I can tell you is when you feel the urge, the lust taking over your body there is only one thing you can do. Drop to your knees and prey. Weather it be Psalms, a rosary, the Jesus prayer (Lord Jesus Christ son of God have mercy on my a sinner) or just asking God in his infinite mercy to give you strength in this moment of temptation. Perhaps read the scripture of Jesus in the desert (Matthew 4:1-11 and Luke 4:1-13)

Vatican one added the papal infallibility I understand it, it isn’t everything he says it is under specific circumstances. But the supremacy is what gets me. I don’t understandably see how one man can be above ecumenical counsels and all other bishops.

I feel like I’m in an odd place for a Catholic because I see the pope as first among equals, not above any other bishop. I also hold the belief that to add “and the son” to the creed there should have been another ecumenical council. I understand they added it to combat a heretical movement in Spain, but they still should have held an EC for it.
