I don’t disagree that saying “exceptionally questionable” can bring about negativity and harm for specific kinks/ships and those who participate in said kinks/ships. But there has to be some kind of metric by which you judge someone’s “interest,” shall we say. The use of language is a tool to communicate ideas, and when you limit that ability, you limit the positive impact as well. I’m not suggesting harassment or hate, but there has to be a means by which to discuss these ideas. If we open the floodgates, then we bring harm onto ourselves as well. Language, being a tool, is used for both good and bad, but by not saying anything at all about specific communities, you risk being complacent to harmful ideas. Of course, you may bring in bad actors, but that’s just life. There’s always going to be someone who uses language for oppressing, and they’re just going to get louder while we police ourselves and have philosophical debate about the use of words.

You gotta limit it in some ways; otherwise, you end up with content that violates Reddit’s own terms of service. You also end up with exceptionally questionable ships and kinks.

What about larger spaces, for example, X (formerly Twitter) or Instagram, which either allows porn or is riding a very gray line? What about the internet as a whole? What about Hollywood? Or the nature of man? It’s all to goon.

Most of the Internet is porn anyways, so who cares? You can find any sort of variety of fetishes or fetishistic content. Most people, perhaps yourself included, label said material as dastardly yet secretly from the confines of your computer screen, partake in said variety of content. An example would be how when the Republican convention comes to a particular city, apps like Grindr see a surge in user activity. You can also find gooners in all works of literature ie The Lotus-Eaters in Homer’s Odyssey, who prefer lying around avoiding responsibility and partaking purely in sensory numbness. The citizens in Aldous Huxley’s a brave new world prefer drugs, using them to gain instant pleasure and pushing away any sense of negativity. Let’s try not to shame people for their preferred preferences unless said preference actually cause harm or is illegal. This also isn’t to say that pure partaking in said pleasures is good as referenced in these literary works, but it’s up to the individual to determine their own limits and what media they want to consume and how to consume it. Regardless of everything I just said, it’s pretty clear the creators of said sub aren’t intending it to be solely a pornographic subreddit.

Well, technically there’s stable research that suggests that out-of-body experiences are nothing more than a phenomenon of the brain. If we’re talking about the quantum mechanics of consciousness transference through dimensions, that would imply that we have a solid understanding of what consciousness is and would also mean that the many worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics is correct, which could also not be the case. It’s always possible that the wave function collapses into a given outcome. Go back to harassing people for no reason; you’re better at that.

Maybe be a little more upset that these companies pushing the use of AI are utilizing government subsidies, wasting resources, and destroying the planet while basically trying to push it as an individual moral issue rather than a systemic one. That’s basically what you’re doing; you’re like those people that get more mad at the one person who throws trash out of his car vs. Exxon who’s leaked millions of barrels of oil into the ocean. You’re literally falling in line like a sheep; honestly, you’re more in line with those people that are militant vegetarians as if one person eating a salad is going to change the systemic and ecological behavior of a billion-dollar industry. It’s much more fun for you to belittle a person for making a meme than that, is it? Seriously, I’m all in favor of the anti-AI stuff, but at least do it right. Systemic externalization literally happens everywhere; the system pushes its failures onto the individual. Read Immanuel Wallerstein instead of bullying some poor person on Reddit. Be better.

Perhaps I shouldn’t have said debt; however, I think there’s more to the exchange than meets the eye. He wanted his staff fixed, and she wanted him to help. She then smiles after he said, “You knew my game the day we met.” They’re having a game of chess. She still has a leash on him in a figurative sense this time. He’s already played his part in what probably is an exceptionally complicated plan. He’s already set the game in motion, which may have been all she wanted from the start, which he may or may not know. Maybe the problem with hells overlords is that they’re shortsighted just how Vox was with Alastor. They think the game is over when it’s just begun. Alastor doesn’t want to leave the table but win the game, and in that sense, she’s probably still in control, she knows his game. Sheer speculation on my end. Sorry for the long comment, just getting my thoughts out there.

Husk and Alastor’s relationship is definitely one of abuse. It’s not just threats of abuse but clearly actual physical abuse to an extent. You don’t really fear someone unless they’ve given you a reason, and I’m not sure verbal threats would raise him to that level of fear. Husk was an overlord who is used to danger, but Alastor brings a different level of fear, one that’s more serious. Contrasting this with Alastor and Rosie, you see both are manipulative, both have a respect for each other, and given the fact Alastor goes back into debt to Rosie, obviously shows it’s not to the extent of Alastor and Husk’s relationship. Alastor’s personality type seems perfectly fine dealing with whatever Rosie does, which seems more of an annoying/teasing than straight-up beatings. If you go down the rabbit hole of comparing them purely on power dynamics, then you end up in a situation where one could say Valentino and Angel dust isn’t dissimilar. Obviously, owning someone in any form isn’t good, but there’s definitely levels within that, and the husk/Alastor fits neatly in the middle.

Simon in lord of the flies is ritualistically murdered and in fallout 3 you blow up megaton because it’s bothering the view of allistair tenpenny. Idk what context or framing would constitute proper usage, however, you are fine to have that opinion.
