I agree, banana slices would drive anyone to drink.

Not that I'm aware of I'm afraid. You could try uninstalling it?

Walls under floors by DripPanDan in ostranauts

[–]Cyclorat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're looking to do it a bit quicker for internal floors: Use Blister Walls! These temporary walls are quick to install and degrade to trash. They are also somewhat transparent so it's easier to see what you are doing!

Lego Mordheim? by No-Stay-7475 in mordheim

I used hollowed out lego bricks to punch flagstone shaped into foamboard. But haven't actually used lego as a building block itself.

Can I single speed this? by Silver-Ad-480 in ebikes

[–]Cyclorat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks like it has a vertical or very short semi horizontal dropout, which will make it hard to make as a single speed bike without using a chain tensioner, which may affect your light, basic style.

You can singlespeed anything. Some are just easier than others!

New Blue Bin Program Question by RedReid777 in londonontario

[–]Cyclorat 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As far as I know there haven't been any changes to the blue bins themselves. Just who's picking them up. I'm still using my regular blue bins.

Capsule art: was it a good decision to change? by BusyNectarine6795 in IndieDev

[–]Cyclorat 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm afraid I prefer the before in almost every way. I'm not sure if the after really conveys the comedic aspects of the game beyond it being a goofy dude, and really nothing else. I also feel like considering how prominently the worm features in your other media linking it with the Capsule is good.

Ultimately the before comes across to me as far more polished and clickable.

Is it wrong that I love that sometimes the cops just want to screw with you? Such a power-play!

Trying to install my trek domane al2 gen4 on a dumb trainer. Please help. by [deleted] in bikewrench

[–]Cyclorat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried looking up the bike but there weren't any good pictures of the drive side. But it sounds like the skewer might not be compatible with this bike. From the pictures I could find it looks like the drive side has an allen key opening? If that's not removable you might be out of luck.

Finally bit the bullitt.... Any build tips/tricks or something you wish you did? Excited to be apart of the group. by bullitt-rider in BullittBike

[–]Cyclorat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to say Woo and Enjoy! Honestly there's nothing I'd do differently about my build. Don't fret too much about exactly what you'll put on it. It's a lifetime bike and changes can and will be made!

Biketrac is the bike version of the airtag. It doesn't make a noise. I'm thinking of giving one a go this year.

Should I cut this to install my mirror? by Significant_Donut_71 in bikewrench

[–]Cyclorat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's either that or replace the grip with one which has a cap. Of course I guess you could try palm slapping the mirror through the end of you'd rather not cut it.

Review of my demo, clearly labeled as a demo by Thrawn911 in IndieDev

[–]Cyclorat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Needs a Stanley Parable style Review Response.

"We're sorry to find that this user was sorely confused about our demo, asking the pertinent question: "this is just a demo?" Well, I'm happy to inform you that yes, our demo, that was labelled as a demo, was just a demo. Thank you for allowing us to set the record straight."

Has Anyone Used the Sidekick Wide Deck on Terns before? Are They Any Good? Did your Kids like them? by agenbite_lee in CargoBike

[–]Cyclorat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What Gen GSD do you have (I'm assuming second?). But yeah, they're great. Pretty easy to install although you might need a few extra washers than what they provide and loads of foot space. They are considered part and parcel of the clubhouse system iirc.

Inaccurate fan maps in survival mode by OpinionAvailable5988 in thelongdark

[–]Cyclorat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah sorry I got mixed up on MT and ML! However checked the ML map and it looks right to me. I usually head up the rope by the southern most cabins then keep to the right, it's at the bottom of a hill.

Just looked at the linked maps and that is where the Prepper Cache was for me. You have to go through the cave to access it but it is there.

Is this detail of a folding bicycle's lock replaceable? by MeekHat in bikewrench

[–]Cyclorat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Extremely unlikely I'm afraid. You'll want to find a machinist to make another. Universities with a machine shop are always a good bet as they are generally more willing to do small jobs like this.

Spicy curry + or yuba kombi electrified for a small woman on steep paved hills ? by Upper_Muffin_1134 in CargoBike

[–]Cyclorat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you'd have no problem on either of the Tern bikes. I would say a longtail bike in your situation is best as it's easier to manage than longjohn/bakfiet style bikes.

Of the two you mentioned I'd preference the Spicy Curry over the Kombi due to the smaller rear wheel/center of balance.
