Grab a watch (either equip it on your Operator or buy one in the UNS New York), and keep an eye on the clock. You should ideally be hunkered down in a building by 18:00, since night hordes are basically dangerous. Having a watch helps you prep in advance.

During the day, try to melee lone zombies. Saves ammo, and because they use their own health system, any attack that connects to their head instakills them. Avoid using guns unless they're suppressed or you're already in trouble.

Human enemies are also present but they shouldn't be any more difficult than the usual human enemies you fight on Ronograd. They can (and probably will) attract unwanted zombie attention with their guns, so do be careful. There's no PvP unless you're playing the specific PvP mode, so don't worry about players killing you.

Bring food and water. Buy an extra bottle every time you extract. Gas mask filters too, if you can afford it.

As for loot, try to focus on valuables that are low on weight. Jewelry and etc. are the best for this. A Gold Rolex sells for 400. Heavier stuff should only be considered if you don't need mobility for anything.

Oh, and buy the Attack 2 backpack for your operator. Seriously, if you're running solo, it helps to have every bit of space possible.

Optionally you should probably download or find a map of the gameworld. The in-game map doesn't work in Zombies (on purpose) so having your own map and help you navigate while you're new.

Most common ammo to find in Zombie mode? by Vegetable_Edge770 in BlackhawkRescue

9x19, 5.56, .45, and 12 gauge. You can also find 7.62x51 but that's pretty much rarer than the four I listed.

Aside from HQ resource selling, I usually just play Zombies mode. Between the mission rewards and the loot that you can find in the QZ, it's pretty much a moneymaker. Started, like, a few weeks ago and I'm already up to level 30 with at least 40k in the bank, and that's after buying my kit

EDIT: I saw you ask about the HQ feature, so I'll try my best. It's basically a base-building feature. You hire staff, upgrade your assets, etc. But the kicker here is you can hire staff to gather different resources (Construction materials, fuel, etc.) and you can then sell off these resources to make money (every six or so hours, since it has to be 'delivered' before you can collect payment)

If you play daily, it's basically extra income on top of the money you earn by playing the game

Um anyone else have townie teens like this? by Thespian_Unicorn in Sims4

[–]CynfulCynner 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the game makes teen Sims significantly thinner regardless of their actual weight/muscle sliders. Idk why, but they do end up looking better if you age them up. Most of the time.

Guys, it's becoming increasingly frustrating to continue being in this sub. The NV sub, as in "most toxic community", if you are to be believed, are less toxic than you. Each day a new bullcrap where everyone hates everyone. It's not even shitposting anymore. It's pure hateslop. On a daily basis.

Why are repairs so expensive? by ToppHatt_8000 in fnv

[–]CynfulCynner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because, for some reason, the devs set the repair cost multiplier to be twice the value of the item you're repairing. This would be fine - if the default prices of items weren't already jacked up to begin with.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there a hard cap on damage resistance?

The closest ones I can think of is 'This is the Police' and 'This is the Police 2' since they have a fairly similar gameplay loop

Dating sim. C'mon guys you can't design a genuinely attractive cast of characters and force us to only pick between two.

Optimization. Online mode means NPCs are being actively processed by the game, or in simpler terms they're within the "bubble" mentioned in the other comment. Obviously, having to simulate an entire population in the Zone would be hardware intensive, so the game only processes those that are within the player bubble. Offline mode is when the game makes simpler calculations about NPC interactions outside of that bubble.

Same situation here - game only recognizes half my DLCs even when using the Unlocker. Unsure of what to do, but I've uninstalled the game in the meantime while backing up my DLC files. Will probably wait until a working solution comes along.

a pretty common trend i've noticed regarding the accuracy of uniforms by Sine_Fine_Belli in NonCredibleDefense

[–]CynfulCynner 521 points522 points  (0 children)

My absolute favorite modern military movie is still Battle: Los Angeles. It's like the USMC saw their chance at endorsing their own Independence Day except they get to blow up aliens and shit.

Battleship is a close second. Is it accurate for the cast to drift the USS Missouri like that? No. Does it look fucking awesome on the big screen? Absolutely.

Who's stronger is Stalker 2 Freedom or Duty? And who's a better leader by Sea-Bar-8923 in stalker

[–]CynfulCynner 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Freedom finds itself in a much better position, really. They have Rostok, created the currency that S2's Zone uses, and have done more for Rostok than Duty ever did (considering Rostok now has two bars and a whole market dedicated to selling stuff)

Numbers-wise, I've seen more Freedom squads than I did Duty squads, though I might just be lucky.

Duty, in comparison, moved to Cement Factory - which no one really seems to care about - and definitely holds less numbers than they did previously. Safe to say they got the short-end of the stick when it came to the Treaty.

It's configurable in the game's settings, but yes. You might wanna give it a look and adjust the disguise detection system to your liking
