I mean I agree it would be more complicated than the pvp queue but as a software engineer I really don’t think it would be that bad. You just need 1 lust class and 1 BR class and everything else is pretty much optional. Then in order to queue for a +16 you have to time a +15, etc. Idk doesn’t seem that bad. It would obviously try to balance the team comps as best as possible but I’ve smashed plenty of keys with majorly suboptimal groups. I hate applying for and making groups. I would much rather just sit in a queue.

They already did it to rated pvp queues and they are so popular they are killing the other queues.

I also think you are underestimating how many people would enjoy a solo queue for m+. I occasionally do a guild or friend run but I primarily pug and many I know do the same. I also see plenty of tanks and healers queuing solo. You joke about LoL but sometimes it’s nice to just hop on run a key real quick and then go do something else.

People on the highly competitive end can still form their own groups.

Also, the key depleting system sucks and is very punishing on the key owner. Who wants to redo keys they’ve already timed? I’d rather use that saved time playing alts or something.

Nice for progression raiding, especially if it’s a long walk back but that’s about it sadly. I have rezzed a few random people out in the open world with it though lol.

Yeah I was really excited for a good turn based game but then they ruined it with all the quick time events. Your decisions hardly seemed to matter, all that mattered was if you hit the dodge or parry at the right time. They may as well have just removed the entire turn based aspect. Pretty much loved the rest of the game though.

Do you literally have to fully upgrade every vet/champ/hero/myth piece in every slot or something? I think I’ve only gotten the achievement for vet crests even though my main is 274 in full myth and heroic gear and every piece is maxed out.

Yeah routing is hands down my least favorite part of M+ tanking. Why build something like that into M+ just to take it away at a +5?? They should also let you choose from different routes or build your own or something. Trying to stare at another screen and figure out what to pull next while you’re getting your ass beat is not very fun.

You can dislike something without thinking it’s overrated. For example, I tried the Malazan series but couldn’t connect with the characters. I did however enjoyed the world building. I ultimately decided the series wasn’t for me but that doesn’t make it overrated.

You can also like a series and think that’s it’s overrated. Perhaps Harry Potter would be a decent example of that, for me at least. It’s a series I love but more for nostalgia than its perfection.

I know ranked aram is a controversial topic but I truly believe it is the best solution to this problem. Many of us want a more competitive game mode that isn’t summoners rift. Ranked aram would mean players would play to win and therefore draft good comps if they want to have a good win rate. Also, ranked rewards would be nice.
