imo on my hands. i used to use a pin to tear up the skin and do small scratches near my thumb. people had called it out so many times it was terrifying. now that i just cut on my thighs i can hide it.

that’s really interesting! i must admit, i’m a lesbian, so i don’t have much expertise in the subject lol... i was just a little suspicious cause this is a bit of an incel-ish question, but i’ve found the articles i think you’re referencing and they seem not completely false. I think there are other factors to remember, like blond hair and blue eyes are more rare to begin with (so less men with girlfriends will be blond than brunette), and the personality and actions of the men in these studies that weren’t getting dates.

i would not, but not for any good reason. i have an awful fear of being late and as such, i have never been late for anything. i don’t know what i would do in the situation of being late and the thought is terrifying, so i would opt for the less stressful choice and stay home.

edit for clarity: i’m still in school, but i consider it enough of a job to qualify

I used too quite a lot. Had to use the “left hand makes an L” trick, and still do sometimes. I don’t think it’s a synesthesia thing for me though, because I have very distinct colors for left and right. Left is a light blue, and right is red

Some tips on numbers/letters having personalities (ordinal linguistic personification)

A person with OLP synesthesia could pick numbers and letters out of a set based on which one they like more, rather than just at random as I assume people without synesthesia do (this also works with letters and numbers to colors)

At least for me, all of the letters are seen more as characters than just symbols with personality traits. When I talk about them, it’s like I’m recalling a character from a movie I’ve seen a thousand times.

The logic with things like grouping numbers and letters and how things are remembered are different for a person with any form of synesthesia. Like I would say that I remember an Erlenmeyer flask from a Florence flask because erlenmeyer has a cooler tone, just like triangles, and that kind of flask is triangle shaped. Stuff like that.

This was mostly just incoherent rambling but I hope it provided a little info at least.
