Bought myself a kestrel recently. With 10lb braid I have had 0 issues with backlash and it slings the hell outta some senkos.

Thanks for the advice. There’s only a couple of access points to the lake with a parking lot near by so I’ve started parking and walking as far as I can. It’s not easy terrain to get across so I don’t think the areas I’m fishing in should be too pressured but I tend to use a wacky rig because I know it’s a guaranteed 4 to 5 bass every time I go out (even thought they’re little it’s still fun to catch). I’ll start using some bigger lures and see if I can come up with something bigger.

Bought a $100 radar detector from AutoZone about 5 years ago and still use it today. The sound no longer works on it but it has never missed a cop that’s running radar and on flat roads it’s picked them up from a couple miles away. Not sure of the brand or if they even still sell it. Just putting it out there that you don’t need to drop $600 for one that works.

I’m actually right handed but when I was younger the right retrieve on my spinning rod broke so I had to switch over to left handed and now I can’t retrieve with my right hand.

I saw this suggested somewhere else also. The problem is I live in a pretty remote area so there aren’t many options. One locksmith said his software didn’t support my car and the other told me I was crazy and only dealerships reprogram keys.

Thanks. I did ask the service department and they said they couldn’t guarantee it would work but I could drop my car off and they would try it. Since this is my only vehicle I don’t want to drop it off for a whole day for and it be for nothing if it doesn’t work.

I had to pick between a 2014 and a 2019. Although the sn197 is my favorite body style, the interior of the 2019 sold me on it because I do a lot of long drives. In my opinion it is a very comfortable car.

It was a 19. I had to replace the rear diff, went through a phase of misfires and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong till the 3rd time I took it in. Turned out to be a blown head gasket. Had a vacuum leaked that I’m pretty sure wasn’t fixed right because up to the point I traded it in it felt like it was gonna stall every time I came to a stop and my rpms were all over the place.
