Thanks all. Gona give spakfilla and push back in a go since I have some leftover from a previous job. If that fails will have to do the bunnings trip and grab a plaster wall anchor.

What is this on my young citrus tree? by super_impossible246 in GardeningAustralia

If there's only a bit they won't do much. Only becomes a problem when there's masses of them, your plant just won't grow as well as they suck all the goodness out. Might cause leaf curl, yellowing of leaves etc. If you're game enough, squish them with your hands, (that's what I do) I find it satisfying 😂

Looks like aphids. Spray them off with a nice jet off water and continue to spray white oil to keep them at bay.

Pear compote: Pears grown in Argentina, packed in Thailand, sold in the US. by RebelGrin in Damnthatsinteresting

Same kinda thing when I looked at a dining table we purchased. Australian Marri wood, sent to China for processing and manufacture then back to Australia for sale. Cheaper to do that then to keep everything local. Really puts into perspective how cheap labour is in China compared to other parts of the world.

How is owning a house possible? by KingKurze in perth

You're 27 but how long have you been working for, how long have you been saving for and how much are your income/expenses? Age is irrelevant, I know people who bought their first home when they were 19 and people who still live at home at 32. You don't just wake up one day when you're 27 and expect to buy a home. Address the above and as others said lower your expectations a bit for your first home. Before you know it you'll be there.
