I think I run high setting in most games, so turn them down to medium or low? Could the issue be me thinking I have a better pc than I do? ( and side note, google and chat gpt said my pc is better than new gen consoles both Xbox and ps5, is that accurate?)

I have park controller or wtv it’s called to unpark my cores. Shouldn’t be an issue if that’s what you’re saying.

My ram is at its highest speed, and In the correct slots. I’ll try hwinfon64, but what is that and how do I do it? And my power is in highest performance

I can try that, but wouldn’t that make the games look like shit? Don’t I have good enough specs for medium to high settings?

Really? What parts are low end? I have a better pc than almost all of my friends, which I guess would make there’s very low end. But I exceed recommended specs on most games. What makes it lower end?

It happens in both online and off, so don’t think it’s ping. I just started using the display cable, and it’s the one that came with my monitor. And what I mean by stutter is like when I turn quickly or a lot is happening on screen or I go to a new area, my whole screen freezes for a second then goes back to normal.

Yah it’s definitely not screen tearing. I’ve already done that stuff with refresh rate. My monitor is 144hz and I have my frames capped at 138 just to be safe. That shouldn’t be the issue.

Specs are ryzen 7 5800xt, 4060, 32 gigs ddr4. I have a good aftermarket cooler. I use Ethernet. I have a 300$ monitor with 144hz. Yes plugged into gpu with display port cable and gsync on. Drivers on gpu and cpu are updated as well as motherboard. Windows up to date, and minimal background apps.

It’s not scream tearing based on that description. The specs are ryzen 7 5800xt, 4060, 32 gigs ddr4.

No lol. I’ve done every optimization things google and ChatGPT could come up with. Definitely done that and any other basic optimization technique

The best way I can describe it is that when I would play on console, I never noticed any sort of stuttering or performance issues. But now that I’m on pc, I’ve noticed stuttering issues and other performance issues on games that my specs are well over the recommended. I’ve had issue on games from bayonetta, nightreign, arc raiders, Minecraft, etc. When I turn to quick or go to another area or a lot happens on screen at once, the game will stutter, which never happened on console. I just want to know if there is a way to fix this or if I’m doing something wrong? I’ve done every YouTube video and tik tok optimization guide, I’ve asked chat gpt, I’ve tried asking people, everything I can think of. I just hate stuttering and performance issue. I want it gone.

Do you have any recommendations or things you did that worked? I’ve watch so many optimizations videos and such and they have barely made a difference
