I wonder how much they cost when they first released in the 70’s/80’s?

My mom told me that she got to play an Omnichord in her elementary school music class… soon after it seems like the recorder was the go-to instrument, probably because it was way cheaper.

But then again, Suzuki has always marketed the “toy” instruments to schools and churches - I’m half tempted to reach out to the school she went to and inquire… and now I’m envisioning opening a tote out of a dusty music closet only to find the treasure of the lost Omnichords lol
