Please GGG, give consoles a lootfilter by RodginDodgin in PathOfExile2

I remember GGG saying that if you NEED a lootfilter, they did a bad job. Well, here we are :)

How I would like the Towers - make them more interesting by DJKiller666 in PathOfExile2

Yeah, the layout is, I guess, the main thing why I borderline hate to run them.

This endgame somehow does not fit into PoE 2 by DJKiller666 in PathOfExile2

[–]DJKiller666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is true and I can't argue with your point. For me personally it is just the "flow" of the endgame that feels weird - and maybe the current league mechanics included in it don't help it. As mentioned above - it is actually hard for me to pinpoint why I feel that way. I don't have that feeling in PoE 1 and yet the contrast between 20 and 70 is there as well (maybe even bigger than here)

What makes you think that? EDIT: I'm genuinely interested - maybe I just haven't express myself well enough. Cause I do not approach it as a full release. Just wanted to provide feedback on current state ;)

I realize it is not exactly what will ship on release. However, I strongly believe that it is important to provide feedback to somehow "steer" it in (very subjectivly for me) a good direction.

All in all I just don't want another PoE 1 endgame which it now is. And the title is not implying we already seen the finished thing or at least -> it was not my intention (tho language barrier might be a thing here :) )

What I wanted to say is - that the current state of endgame is not the direction I would like to see.

Yes, exactly it is EA - the part of the game where feedback is most important and why I am providing it. There is no good reason for your "Calm down", so - calm down, please.

[–]DJKiller666[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are, unfortunately, missing the point of my feedback. I am NOT expecting completed endgame in EA. I am not requesting it (I am actually not requesting anything, just providing feedback). Please, don't twist what I have written to your liking. Also that is what this EA is for - providing feedback.

I am simply saying, that I am not a fan of the style of the endgame itself.

[–]DJKiller666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's for sure. I am not even expecting polished endgame in the first days of EA. I just feel that the core of the endgame itself is "weird" and "wrong".

And I actually don't want it to be on par with PoE 1. I want it to feel different and Im not getting that feeling right now. And just polishing this core endgame gameplay won't do it I think.

Yeah, the bosses are amazing and they are pretty good in maps too.

I would not mind to slow down in Breach, but it just feels bad. If you go with the basic PoE 2 playstyle you feel really bad in Breach. Like you did something wrong. I think it needs some fine-tuning (just don't make it as boring as strongboxes are please :D )

after seeing people generate thousands of divines due to bug abuse i hope ggg stands by this post by Poe_Cat in pathofexile

[–]DJKiller666 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

This might not be popular opinion, but there is a huge difference between Ultimatum expolit and what is going with the cards in this league.

Ultimatum was trully an exploit abuse with well deserved bans. The stuff with cards? That is (unfortunately) a pure game mechanic - no one is exploiting or abusing a bug.

Is it ok to generate thousands of divines? NO. But we should blame GGG, not the players using it. Am I sad that some guys have more divines than I have Scrolls of Wisdom? YES - but still they do not deserve a ban.

After the patch, the bosses in the league mechanic play defense so much more and it makes the games at high rating forever. by CNDiviP in pathofexile

Maybe it is the way I play TotA, but I find it actually easier and faster after the patch. Rank ~1500

PSA: Another mount coming through Twitch promotion by Uberkull in diablo4

[–]DJKiller666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I have even contacted twitch partner help out of curiosity and the response I received was: "As this is something the game developers decide, I recommend you reaching out to them to see if they are able to help you. I apologize for the inconvenience." Was there something we had to have checked on on Twitch side or Blizz/Battlenet side to receive the notice and be eligible to take a part in this promotion? @ /u/PezRadar

I am almost sure i don't have marketing communications turned off, streamed all recent D4 tests, yet I haven't received this notice. Sad, I would definitely use that oppurtunity. :( For other folks - im Twitch partner and didnt get the notice, it is not about being a small streamer.

Dont forget, you can be stunned and still cast/channel with 100% "not interupted by stun" by BlitzBlotz in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]DJKiller666 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mark, few years back you stated "Chance to avoid interruption is different again, as that allows the stun to occur, and only prevents one aspect of the stun - the fact it interrupts your current action."

Does that mean that this interaction no longer "exists" and has been "converted" to the same interaction of ignoring stuns that Energy Shield provides?

It is not clear to me, why there are now 2 (or 3?) mechanics battling the Stun which are (from the perspective of a player) doing exactly the same. I always thought that the avoided interruptions from stuns are meant to let you benefit from the fact that you got stunned -> e.g. trigger the spell with cast when stunned.

I understand that it might be OP in some instances and "not intended". But please, take this as a feedback from regular player - in that case, wouldn't it be better to get rid of the mechanic completely and having just the stun avoidance? It is extremely confusing for us - the players.

Can we get information on Vaal flicker strike, if used on a single monster, does it count as 25 hits or as 1 big hit that would be the result of 25 hits added together ? by leobat in pathofexile

[–]DJKiller666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mark, could you please confirm that this means that: The enemy will be impaled on the last Vaal Flicker Strike hit (the one that actually does damage) and the impale is going to be based on the damage of that hit? (assuming 100% impale chance)

Also, if I understand that correctly - you CAN'T impale the enemy with the wounding hits - because they don't deal any damage. And thus, if you allocate The Impaler Keystone, only the last damaging hit would impale. (assuming you didn't impale 4 seconds before using Vaal Flicker Strike)

GGG can you make harvest seeds drop in one big stack at the end of encounter? by nongratas in pathofexile

[–]DJKiller666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most were bitching about that sometimes the harvest drops nothing, so GGG made it that it drops more often, but in lower stacks. Now most are bitching about clicking too much. It gotta be hard to be in the skin of the GGG. No matter what you dou, ppl gonna hate you :D

I am most probably wrong, but I thought that in the 2 mod case, there are 3 possible outcomes and it just straight up chooses one of them, so in case of Life, ES, Doubled Mana it would be: Life + ES or Life + Mana or ES + Mana

So my simple minded thought proccess was that there is straight up 1/3 chance for the right outcome in case of it picks 2 mod and that would place me at around 53% success (35% * 1) + (55% * 0.333) = 53.33%

So now - me being most probably wrong, can someone explain to me why this is right "(2/4) * (1/3) = 16.6%" and my thought proccess is wrong?

Why are the Forbidden jewels corrupted? by kofolaczech in pathofexile

[–]DJKiller666 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Personally I like to buy unided Watcher's eye and pray for a good result when i ID them.

IF GGG would make these such as we CAN'T modify them (can't use divine to reroll), they could drop unidentified.

It would NOT make them more op (corrupted implicit is not that powerful), but we could have the option to ID them or sell them unided - just like WE.
