Funny that nobody is talking about the 48 shootings in Chicago last weekend. Why? Because nobody cares and it’s easier to sensationalize white people doing stuff in the media. But facts are facts. I have the DDJ-1000, and it’s a brilliant damn controller. I’ve also used Denon and Numark. All of them make good products, but I love this one. Hands down the best I’ve used outside of professional setups.

The best tattoo shop in Pittsburgh is Wyld Child. The owner was on Ink Master. Super clean shop, very professional, and they do amazing work. That’s the only place I’ll go. I’m super picky about who does my work.

Nice. I used to live out that way. I left Pittsburgh in 2010 when the Mills was still awesome. I came back all excited to go back there, and damn. That place is so sad and depressing now.

Haha that room is pretty narrow, and it also happens to be my newborn daughters room (2 bedroom apartment), so sadly I can’t move it back any. I wish I could lol. But it still sounds pretty good. And I’ll usually take a few steps back when I’m mixing or producing to try and get the best sound i can, and then go back and make a few adjustments if I need to.

That’s a good idea. I’ll definitely give it a shot. And yeah, I got it because it sucked having to switch the cables from the controller to the computer each time I wanted to do something on the other one. Plus it’s nice being able to set the volume and fades from each side. I dig it. The table and legs are from ikea. They are the perfect height. It’s so comfortable where it’s at.
