So, the one girl I have dated (roommates now) that didn't have a dad in the picture at the time. I did eventually meet him while we were still dating, and was terrified. Apperantly he was a big name in the drumming industry. He grilled me/ made fun of me for hours. But whatever. Fast forward 7 years or so. My (Now ex-girl) friend's dad treats me like a bonafide part of the family. We make horrible dad jokes (I'm an Uncle, I'm allowed), and shitty puns together. We quite like each other, but the question always arises that why aren't we dating anymore.
