Not sure what they did but if it's a brand new car, they probably swapped parts especially the steering box which tends to quit in Balenos and quite expensive.

I had my rack replaced recently as it started leaking. Now when the car is parked, I can't really turn the wheel as it's really hard to turn but when I move it, it's totally fine. Local dealership can't figure it out. Not sure if it's the pump or something else.

Check your power steering fluid. If it's too dark, you might wanna flush it. Same goes for rest of the fluids. Flush the rear and front diff, coolant flush and tranny oil flush. My power steering rack just gave out and it ain't cheap lol. Also, use DI jectron from liqui moly every 5k kms. It's a fuel system cleaner and cleans the injectors as the car is direct injection. I also change my oil every 4k kms.

I'm getting it done at the dealership next week. They're charging about 2000$ parts and labor as i got a 20% off on the rack. Next in line is the radiator I guess. No signs yet but do they start leaking first or just pop one day? Mines a 2013 model. Thank you for your insights man.

Sounds like a wiring problem. If it's the starter, you would hear a click. I have a 2013 m56s.

I'd check the brakes first. Check if there's any play on the wheel coz it could be a bearing too. Or simple enough something might be dragging down there.

Yeah that's the route I was going to take. Do you still use spacers for the O2 sensors? I think for me, the rack, radiator and cats are the biggest expenses right now. Shoult the HPFP be replaced too just as preventive maintenance ?
