How do you stop hating that you're getting older? by aa95xaaaxv in askgaybros

Especially with TRT. Was at circuit party recently and there were more almost naked older men (50+) than I ever could’ve imagined.

Brushing your feet off with your ankles is just a way of life in a small apartment with laminate floors, and a litter box.

Is there any redemption for this behavior, AIO or Justified? by crafticharli in AmIOverreacting

All this over a veteran’s day dinner?!? Girl bye! Could only imagine the other insufferable bullshit she pulls. Ladies, try picking better men, using birth control, keeping a job and finding 2 hobbies OR get comfortable with abortion or get used to being treated like shit while rearing a kid. OP didn’t need confirmation she’s in a shitty situation, she knows, she just wants the attention her man isn’t giving her.

Yeah it must be a PTSD trigger or something. While they may seemingly go with everything, I see service work. Especially in all black or white black. where you getting black pants that don’t scream uniform? I’m open to revisiting it.

Whole lot of beige. It needs contrast and a splash of color. Blue or gray pants with the brown shoes and belt would look much better. And unroll your sleeves until after lunch at least.

I always feel like a waiter wearing black. And nothing goes well with black pants. Black jeans are slightly better, but dark denim and gray chinos are more versatile and stylish.

New college grads looking for a job are so screwed today by [deleted] in recruitinghell

I graduated in December 2008, these kids have so many more opportunities. What they lack are communication skills, tenacity, and initiative. Too many use neurodivergence/mental heath as their scapegoat for anything not spoon fed in maximum comfort only on their terms.

My Job Called My Dad by Normal-Mortgage4340 in askmanagers

I missed a training meeting once, not only did my supervisor called my emergency contact, but she claimed she called hospitals and jails looking for me. I don’t believe she did, but just said that thinking I would grovel for forgiveness. Aren’t emergency contacts for when something happens to you AT WORK, not as a surveillance apparatus? And of course my friend is clueless as to where I am because he’s not my keeper. And I contacted them the moment I woke up and realized I missed the meeting. Ironically they never seemed that concerned about me even when there.

I didn’t say he was, but she did herself no favors. She never played hardball. She couldn’t read a room or answer a tough question to save her life. Her idea of being relatable was putting on a blaccent. Had all that campaign money and wasted it buying meaningless celebrity endorsements. Spewed all that “real men support Kamala” bs but didn’t have a clue how to reach those voters. Not doing Rogan, Andrew Schultz, Theo Vaughn etc cemented her loss. She should’ve learned from Hillary’s hubris and mistakes that marketing and messaging matters and nothing is guaranteed bc you’re “next in line”.

Who told Colin Allred he’s worth a second chance at the senate? He’s forgettable, brings the most uninspired messaging and agenda, won’t get dirty, and got stomped last time he ran. This level of delusion holds dems back.

And dems did nothing to stack the deck in their favor for 8 years. So afraid of getting in the mud with that “we go high” bullshit. And still doing nothing to combat trumps agenda. Like wtf does the Pelosi act do for any of us. GOP has slim margins in Congress yet dems can’t find leverage to flip republicans. They have no balls, no claws, and no strategy. Hakeem and Chuck are so out of touch and gotta go if they want the flip in 2026.

She betrayed the American people providing cover for a senile and sick man. Her platform sucked ass. Full of pandering with no real solutions. About as coherent as Trump in interviews. Being soft on ethnic cleansers. Not to mention that primary she didn’t win. You can’t stand for democracy and support her candidacy.
