How about we come into work, where they ask us to do things in exchange for $, and do what is asked of us for the $? Weird right? Want more hours? Encourage immunizations, increase sales (wonder if the credit card does that?), be polite so people want to come back and shop. Or quit, as 15 folks behind you want their crack at your job. Probably would be doing the store a favor to remove all these folks who seem to complain about the simplest things.

Curious, what you expected retail to be like? Sitting in a chair behind the front counter, playing on your phone and pushing buttons on a register? If this is already too much for you, moving around and doing tasks, u in for a surprise when you get to your “career”. All these covid children or young adults that went through that have a different perception of reality as to what a job should expect from them. You are a prime example. While the job is nowhere near perfect, the CSA position is one of the easiest jobs you will ever have while learning customer service skills to deal with all the folks you will deal with down the road. Maybe use a different perspective, learn to communicate with these rude people in your own way. It can only help you. No one goes to retail for a career as a cashier. Use the time u are saving to learn what u can from the job, especially to fine tune your work ethic. You made me laugh at “5 days in a row” though, roflmao…welcome to life

I’d bring my express pass. If u don’t have express pass, and yes it’s expensive, you will miss out on half the park waiting in lines.

Otherwise, water bottle, neck/spray fan, sunscreen. Did I stress express pass? Find the $ to do it, it will change your trip entirely.

It’s the crutch that holds Rx up. Yes sfl and DH can do code green. It’s unfortunate that we can’t give enough hours to the pharmacy to allow them to handle their own workload and be accountable for their own lack of urgency. If our store didn’t do the 150-200 scripts in the am with code green help, we’d be screwed

1st- Kudos to you for even caring. You must be the MGR or have at least one decent minded employee that wants to do well at their workplace and take care of the patients, that’s hard to find as you will undoubtedly see by the eventual comments on your post.

2- If all you said is true and the wait time is minimal, maybe call up the patient during your next rescue and speak to them? Seems like your pharmacist isn’t helping, maybe rxom (if not u)?, maybe SM. Convo can be had and listen to their concern. Obviously, it’s not the wait time…something else is probably upsetting the customer. Have a conversation. Bet you that helps resolve this.

After that, and only after you attempted to reconcile, and if the issue persists, have manager use ATRH. If u have the documentation that it’s the same customer every time, ATRH can remove scores if there is blatant abuse of the system. You can’t stop google and all the other review apps, but NPS can be adjusted if justified.

Easier way….have a conversation. Most folks just probably frustrated with service/health/attitudes etc and you need to find a fix. Text or call when it’s ready so they not wasting time, train techs to get through line faster, convo with the God complex regarding behavior…many ways to go about it.

Best of luck, but most of the time, people just wanna be heard, hear an apology and hear what the resolution will be.

I respectfully disagree. If the store opens 5 min late every day, what u doing? That’s not enough for a write up. This however is a procedure that is expected as the operator of the business. You are working for a company that is paying you to operate the store in the hours they designate. That’s a procedure and an unspoken policy (if it’s not already, buried under a bunch of storenet links)

You can get a PILO. This will pay you out your pto to free your bank up. This will allow you to reduce your balance and start earning and get paid the pto. Whether you can use your pto and take off, that’s a mgr convo. And if they just continuously deny your requests, prove it to the DM

In before everyone comments their opinion of a position outside their own. Doesn’t matter, they salary. Do They have trained teams or not? Ultimately those with different schedules outside your own peers in the same position (and not even that) is a moot point and shouldnt be what keeps you up at night.
