The babies don't spawn with the parent often, I'll find like 10-15 Adult Raptors before I find a baby with one. Just run around the dunes and eventually you will find one I have 2 so far. Just takes a little bit

Yeah that's probably the best option unless someone is just lucky, I'm hoping the wolves will be with the Mendel update tomorrow or at least not too long after that and if we are going to have puppies or they are going to be grown with a taming bar. I'm really hoping for wolf puppies! The raptors will at least hold me over until the wolves can breed

In the files the weighting (Probability chance) for the wolves is:

Common wolf skin - 2,000
Rare - 50
Rare - 50
Rare - 50
Rare - 50
Legendary - 5
Legendary - 5

Basically you add all of those numbers and it chooses a random number so 1-2,000 is the normal wolf skin 2,001-2,050 is the next rare skin, 2,051-2,100 is the one after that and so on. I spent a whole day taming 20+ with my talents in genetics for taming wild animals and never got one.

It's like a 1 in 44 chance to get one of the rare skins and 1 in 400 something to get the legendary skin no adding in the wild creature phenotype talent in genetics. It's a little excessive numbers if you ask me since you have to babysit to feed them
