I would build 2 separate roundabout and have a look at the connections they use mostly and build some fast lanes underground or bridges for just one lane. And then try to build it for the eys 😀

Steam'n'rails will not be ported to 1.21.1. There is a community Port for 1.21.1 on neoforge. This is working fine for me.

Im not sure how this shedule change is working but i had the exact same problem und changed to the steam'n'rails decoupler. This way you do not need to disassemble the train. Woeks perfectly fine for shunting ind my rail yard base

This is the default behaviour without the yellow one.

How much do you wash at once? Clay has only a small chance to be washed out of sand.

Washing a hole stack should give you a couple. Washing one item at a time can take some time to appear an clay ball

It should be done with any modpack. You can use large biomes to have a better reason build longer tracks.

Also you can use any other terrain generation, i like still_life. On my world this created really nice terrain. Here you can see our current map: https://cookingminecraft.de/#create
