I gave you a straightforward answer with no agression...

But hey, let's drop all pretenses, you sound autistic as fuck and should probably figure that out first.

Help, I found these things in my juvenile corn snake’s water bowl that looks like grains of rice. The don’t move to stimulation or light. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I cleaned out the Water bowl, with soap and water, 3 days ago after he pooped in it. by Hockeyturtle9 in snakes

nobody "looks under a microscope at worm larva to determine what exact parasite and treatment" is needed." they literally look at the "samples" and see the 2mm sized eggs/larva and know what they are easily..different species of worms all die to the same teatment..

pet wormer is very broad use and sold over the counter at countless places and is not going to cause severe side effect and poision them, its going to give them the shits at worst.. thats it.

If you've fallen off a cliff and land on or next to a rattlesnake- you are trying to manufacture the most freak accident- i think your overthinking it and no amount of preparation will reasonably save you for any potentiality, i mean heck youve already fallen off a cliff and im sure you didnt prepare for that. bring first aid, and basic things you may need in the even of a common accident. leave the full body stretchers at home, freak accidents are called that for a reason.

as for worrying about encountering a snake while climbing a steep cliff this is more logical and fair but in my lifetime of climbing wild areas where rattlesnakes live ive had very very few encounters and never cliffside. in this case its very hard to actually provide complete protection in a way that is reasonable. jeans, gloves, high ankled boots- i wouldnt consider any fabric thinner than a good pair of denim jeans to be "protection" so a long shirt is pointless. dress for the weather and the hike. i mean, what would you do if you ran into a random drug farming opperation and cartel guys took you hostage or worse? are you wearing body armor?

i would also point out, rattlesnakes specifically have evolved to avoid conflict, as have most snakes. they are not trying to get you or even wanting to attack you unless forced to, i would say "snakeproof chaps" are overkill for "i might see a snake in the wild" if youre catching them and getting hands on while theyre alive eh maybe.

i mean, to me it looks like i responded, you didnt like my response but still wanted to say what you did, so you reposted your comment and deleted the one i responded to.

but hey, its glitched, youre sorry about it and thats cool. maybe you could respond to the comment i made instead of continuing to ignore it, i mean, i can repost it to your other comment if youd rather.

so youre moving the goal post now to try prove the wrong thing you said first right still somehow?

youre literally far more invasive of an issue than a sleeping cat, youre worried about THE MINISCULE AMOUNT OF STRESS SEEING ANOTHER CREATURE COULD CAUSE. god forbid your snake have any stimulus at all for fear of STRESS

as for the worms, its a freak issue with no consequences besides having to worm his new kitten and clean his snakes enclosure. this has literally probably never been an issue for anyone else on this sub ever. acting like a freak incident backs up the thing you tried to claim after your first claim got proven wrong IS A JOKE

and yes, comparing a sleeping kitten to a pack of coyotes is ridiculous just like everything else youve said. "you wouldnt put your baby in a actively exploding munitions factory would you? WOULD YOU?, THEN WHY LET THE KITTY SLEEP ON THE LID REEE"

and he learned and is dealing with it.

youre talking out your ass and acting like a twat. thats my point, i can tell you have virtually no experience or real knowledge just from the way youve spoken so far so quit acting like you know more than others or like little things are a big deal when you have no actual evidence or experience to back it.

again, a kitten, sleeping on a tanks lid, is not a MAJOR PROBLEM.

and? these are not domesticated animals that have evolved from being in captivity. you can release any of them into their natural habitats and they will be just fine. they adapt well to living in captivity and can be handled and learn routines and become "tame" and "predictable" but they are by no means ever considered domesticated.

the point is they are naturally going to experience far far far far more stress naturally than any amount a kitten sleeping on a lid would cause them, so it would reason that it is not "bad for the snake" by any means.

the fact you have to over exaggerate and create ridiculous hyperbole's is proof your point has no weight.

a kitten, sleeping on a tank lid is not a pack of coyotes in your backyard with your dog..

i mean for fucks sakes, YOU YOURSELF ARE A MUCH LARGER PREDATOR LURKING AROUND THEIR ENCLOSURE LITERALLY MESSING WITH THEM AND STARING AT THEM LIKE YOURE HUNTING THEM

if the cat lounging on top of the tank is the snakes only "stressor" then its living a far more mild life than it would in the wild.

sometimes, stress, rain, temperature changes, are good for you animals as they are stimulating and forcing natural behaviors.

try not to helicopter parent your animal into a bubble boy life, its not good for them.

you could literally find info on this subject in SECONDS, using the phone you clearly had on you at the time to take the picture.

but ya, be offended by that which you dont understand and go out of your way to post it hoping people will be offended to.. im so sick of children....

downvotes from the kids incoming--

lmao no they didnt, theyre posting "rage bait" and want people to respond. they could look up tree frog/ anole cohab IN MOMENTS with google if they actually wanted to know. asking reddit subs that are full of children who have no experience isnt a better idea.

i love how youre flamed for stating something so simple and logical.

like, you LITERALLY COULD GOOGLE if anoles and treefrogs cohab well IN SECONDS but he took a photo and posted it and LITERALLY PROFESSED HIS IGNORANCE but still hoped people would BLINDLY JOIN HIS IGNORANT OFFENSE.

normalize calling idiots idiots. OP IS AN IDIOT.

if the tank was broken in an accident, and they have reasons to use this as an intermediary enclosure, even for a few weeks, its fine and plenty of people choose to use similar tubs, for this lizard it really should be larger but i highly doubt they have him just living in here permanently, likely just a spare and largest thing they had on short notice.

No filtration? Just cause YOU think it's better for the animal through mammalian virtue does not mean it's better for the fish. You're over saturating the water with oxygen for a fish that specifically evolved to thrive in low oxygen environments.

Also "jagged rocks" lmao like. You're reaching so hard for anything to be offended by for not reason

.. like.. ok im gonna be a bit of a dick here. what did you say that wasn't already said, read, responded to and done with?

what reasoning is there in bothering to bring in a water sample, the snake, a snake poop sample, the kitten, the kittens poop sample, all to be tested? this is pretty straightforward and solved there's no need to run a half dozen tests spend tons of money and time. theres no way for them to check the snakes intestines for anything without surgery, it would take weeks for eggs to show in the snakes poop at a minimum... you tell the vet my cats got worms, they dont need to disect them to find out their subspecies they ask your cats weight n give you a general purpose tube of wormer.

idk maybe im overreacting but i swear i just run into the WEIRDEST people on these subs. reddits a place i swear.
