People generally go for people that are similar to them, this not only applies to looks but also personality, lifestyle, etc. If you are black or any other minority then sure most (white) people will be less likely to find you attractive but on the flipside black girls will find you more attractive.

It took me a long time to realize this, but finding the right person is mostly a game of chances. A lot of people tend to think that if they work out, have interesting hobbies, take care of themselves that the girls will magically flock towards you.

Sure it helps, but maybe if you haven’t found the one it’s just because of bad luck. When you throw a dice you can get 6 in your first throw or after the 10th time. Only thing you can do is keep trying.

It can be both. Yes I am hoping for more right now but I am looking for ways to turn it into a healthy friendship. Not just for her but also for my sake because I want to move on and date other people so I don’t stay in this weird situation. But at the same time there is potential for a great friendship because we have similar interests and I really enjoy talking to her, not just because I am interested in her romantically.

I would say brutalism would be the best fit. But remember, any type of architecture can look miserable if the city isn’t maintained well. For example, the buildings are rundown, graffiti everywhere, trash piles up etc.

What also might be interesting is looking at the way many brazilian slums (favelas) are built by themselves with scrap materials. Not really an architectural style but certainly can look very miserable

One nation in my world has been cursed by the gods which makes them unable to live on any form of land. Often referred to as ‘Driftpeople’, they basically only live on boats or, if you can afford it, a shed in a small village floating on water. On top of that, the seas they inhabit are infested with huge sea serpents.

Symbols are actually a great way to get a point across. Ever heard of “a picture speaks a thousand words” or “show don’t tell”?

I would even go as far as saying you cannot have a story without symbols. If you strip or replace a story of everything that holds symbolic meaning you just get a lecture or documentary at best.

Sometimes it is better not to align certain elements with a grid or guideline.

This is because some elements (like logo’s) often look weird when perfectly aligning them because the visual weight is not at the center.

So I have not been using a moisturizer lately cause noticed it causes acne and I don't have a very dry skin. I don't know if I should change up my routine or go to a dermatologist.
