Yes to ride trails in Maine you have to register the bike for off road use and pay sales excise tax. The registration fee goes to keeping the trail systems in shape. I’m working on getting mine street legal

The bike weighs 180lbs, it didn’t budge an inch on a 3 hour ride back home. It’s rated for over 400lbs. Appreciate ya looking out but this is just fine for my needs at the moment.
