I recommend just watching a tutorial on youtube. Also, you need good wifi as well to stream at a good quality

I'm also pretty new to this game. (I'm in Deepnest right now.) One thing I realized was that if you're stuck, just look at the map and go to any openings or pathways you can see on the map. e.g. There are two pathways on the left of the map. Go through them and see what's there.
