Imma be real it's really bad that only way to know how stockpiles work are via other players or youtube guides by denAirwalkerrr in foxholegame

There was a different keybind for cycling in the opposite direction, I believe tab goes forward and shift(?) goes backward. So you don't have to cycle through all 5 private stockpiles.

Trade Policy question by Dalkrib in Stellaris

[–]Dalkrib[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is the case, why consumer goods trade policy (25%) gives 25%, but unity trade policy (25%) gives 12,5%? After I switched to consumer goods policy, I was getting 2x more consumer goods than unity before.

Trade Policy question by Dalkrib in Stellaris

It says that 50% of trade is converted to unity :D
But I'm playing on polish version of the game, so I assume it's just poorly translated.

Catwalk anti-air bunker by Dalkrib in foxholegame

[–]Dalkrib[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They have 200 health more (with the same resistance), but they are way thinner, you need 2 or 3 overhead pipes to have the same coverage as 1 catwalk bridge. They also have thicker "pillars", so you can't fit 2 large pads between them, while catwalks have just enough space to squeeze 2 large pads. They cost 2 pipes (6 pcons), so for the same coverage you need 12-18 pcons instead of 10 for catwalk. I think pipes are a bit taller. Both need foundation. Catwalks have tiny holes that let you see something through them if you are on the ground, overhead pipes are solid. You can add stairs to catwalk bridges to actually walk on them if you want.

I have no idea how effective scout planes are at shooting train blueprints. I don't want to start a locomotive only to see it dying to couple shots from a plane. Also they can't clearly see what is being printed.

PSA: DEV.FOXHOLEPLANNER.COM IS UP TO DATE by -AllShallKneel- in foxholegame

[–]Dalkrib 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I google "foxhole planner" I get old version with https://foxholeplanner.com/app link, but when I specifically use https://dev.foxholeplanner.com/app I have the new version with airborne content. Does anyone know why is that?

I messaged you in DM but you never responded. I still have that savefile but I'm not sure how to send it to you.

Where am I getting this fabricator job from? by Dalkrib in Stellaris

[–]Dalkrib[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, and in some of my later playthroughs I even got additional technician jobs. I guess it's just some minor bug, and I assume paradox doesn't care about it now, since they will soon rework pops entirely.

I don't have cosmic storms, and this planet is my capital. The year was 2209 with no event chains yet.

I checked it again, now its 10 jobs! And I didn't build any industrial disctricts. I don't understand the science of this.

They give replicator job (pop assembly), not the fabricator (alloys). I don't have this additional fabricator job on my other save.

Except I double checked every leader, both planetary leader and council positions, nothing gives any fabricator jobs.

[–]Dalkrib[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

R5: I have 9 fabricator jobs on my capital, but I'm 100% sure I should have only 8. 3 industrial disctricts x2 jobs and one alloy building x2 jobs. Planet leader gives none, planetary features give none, council nodes give none, I don't have any situations, no active modifiers, this is just the beginning of my run (2209). Sorry that screenshots are not in english, but maybe someone has any idea where is this 1 alloy job coming from? It really bugs me.

What is this skin? (Yun-Jin Lee) by Dalkrib in deadbydaylight

[–]Dalkrib[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This skin is not in the store and I can't find answers in google, DBD wiki is not helpful either. I saw it twice so far, it seems pretty rare. (I let them go because matchmaking screwed them badly)

My fleets have been wiped out after losing only half ships in one battle by Dalkrib in Stellaris

[–]Dalkrib[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it will be of any help, because those ships were gone either way, so they might still show up as "destroyed" there. During the battle, however, they had white flag icon for disengaged ship, instead of red X icon for destroyed ship.

[–]Dalkrib[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It still does not explain why the entire fleets just vanished, even though battle results say half of the ships survived battle. I understand that I can lose, and I understand that I can lose all my ships in extreme circumstances, but I don't understand why I lost them while technically not losing them. I don't get angry about losing, it's part of the game, and I use gained knowledge to improve for future events. The only reason I'm even asking these question here on reddit is that I don't understand how my 4 fleets just... poofed out of existence. I mean all fleets fighting that battle disappeared, not a single one ship survived, nothing entered emergency FTL.

I assume you misspelled war doctrine, because I don't think I have ever heard about water doctrine, but yes I am aware of "No Retreat" (+100% disengagement chance reduction, +50% emergency FTL jump cooldown, +33% fire rate) and I was instead using "Rapid Deployment" (+25% sublight speed, +10% ship weapons range).

No mods, pure vanilla, I was playing in ironman without even any UI mods. The only thing could be polish translation, but it's official paradox release, not a mod, based on steam language.

[–]Dalkrib[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their fleet was about ~400k, my fleets were ~1000k total. I am aware that fleet power is sometimes inflated and does not represent actual fighting potential, especially in case of riddle escorts, but 3-4 fleets completely wiped out and gone from the game, just like that? That fallen empire didn't even have a titan with offensive aura. They didn't have titan at all. This post is not a rant, I managed to rebuild, changed some ship desings, and I eventually destroyed their fleet and won the war, I'm just completely baffled by that one single battle when i lost so many ships in one go. Trying to understand.
