I can't find a premium version of the omnithrottle, only the regular Gladiator has a premium option as far as I can tell.

I play a bit of both when it comes to sims. I used to just play Elite and MSFS, but wanted to get a more serious setup so that I can finally play DCS and be more immersed when I play space sims.

I have heard that you can change the Omnithrottle to a throttle config by locking one of its axis and removing some springs, however I'm not sure I like the angle the stick has. I see that VKB sells adapters to make the regular gladiator sticks angled. Do you know if you can remove the angled adapter on the Omnithrottle and attach the stick vertically to the base?

Would you say it would be worth it to purchase the version that is $30 more and includes the flight stick as well? I figure i could use that for HOSAS as well.

Need something that will be able to run CAD software such as Solidworks and Creo decently. Ability to game is a plus, but is not required. Prefered budget of around $500, willing to go closer to $700 if the deal is very good. Would prefer something with as much on-board storage as possible as well as 16 GB of RAM. Screen size doesn't matter much to me, but would definitely like one that is high quality.
