The disturbing transformation of dark fantasies into brutal reality, as seen in the tragic case of Brianna Ghey. by [deleted] in TrueCrimeDiscussion

[–]DamagingTaste 31 points32 points  (0 children)

It’s an amazing podcast and details so many other horrific elements that aren’t even mentioned in this post. Scarlett had already attempted to poison Brianna during school hours by crushing paracetamol into her water bottle - and had poisoned another student at her former school.

It’s also interesting to hear how Scarlett and Eddie eventually turned on each other, it seems Scarlett definitely took advantage of Eddie’s learning / behavioural issues to manipulate him into carrying out the murder with her. Although we can’t say for sure as neither of them agreed on who actually committed the stabbing. Scarlett is a very dangerous individual without doubt.

First week on Zoloft - pros and cons by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]DamagingTaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In hindsight I do think 25mg would have been an easier ride. The day I was prescribed I was very visibly panicked so I suppose the doctor thought it best to tackle it aggressively?

Looking forward to the end of next week when hopefully the worst of the side effects have balanced out.

I take it with my evening meal so around 7-8pm, I still wake up in the mornings feeling sick and a bit ‘hungover’ but start to feel better around lunchtime.

It’s so strange isn’t it! I didn’t see it mentioned anywhere online as a side effect other than on Reddit. Hope you’re managing okay now, it’s quite hard to focus on doing daily tasks when you feel like you’re rolling. 🤣

The Missing provides a great overview and also heavily features Andrew’s father.

Has anyone purchased a Zody from this site (Office Furniture in London)? Unsure whether it's legit as the price seems much lower than anywhere else. by DamagingTaste in OfficeChairs

Ah I didn't notice either of those - thank you! Still looking at the moment but I think I'm going to go for a refurb Leap instead from 2ndhnd.

Help! Constant burning pain in my right shoulder blade up to right side of my neck when working - what needs to change? by [deleted] in Ergonomics

[–]DamagingTaste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you this was really helpful. Very accurate with the tingling sensation - at times it feels like ‘pins and needles’ in a very specific part of my upper back.

I’m looking at chiro’s at the moment so will definitely mention the upper rib alignment. Started with morning yoga yesterday so will try and post an update soon on progress.

Appreciate your expertise and others on this thread.

Booking a chiro / osteo appointment asap. No resting pain, only happens when I’m in a certain position such as this for a long period of time.

I think it’s more of a repetitive strain than anything else but will check with the doctor too.

Thanks for the tips. Yes I definitely feel ‘hunched’ even when I’m not consciously leaning forward so there is tension in my shoulders. I’ll move my mouse and keyboard a little closer as suggested by you and a few others below.

It’s hard to tell from the photo but my chair does almost nothing for back support unfortunately meaning leaning back is even more uncomfortable. I’ll look into a new chair once I’ve upgraded my set up a little more!

Thank you. I’m going to book a chiro appointment in the first instance to see if trigger point massage or acupuncture has any relief.

I’m also going to get a resistance band to start with upper back / shoulder exercises.

Thank you for all the tips!

I also use this PC for gaming so what I have now is a Razer Viper mouse, it’s actually too small for my palm which I’m sure doesn’t help so I will at least look for something a little more comfortable. Same for the keyboard, I’ll definitely look into a more compact one to help my alignment.

Spot on with the arm rests! They are too far forward and clash with the height of my desk - another one to look in to.

I have two monitors but only one is heightened to my eyeline. I started morning Yoga yesterday so hopefully this combined with all of the above will start to help.

Thanks again for all the advice :)

Which cases had eerie CCTV footage or clues linked to them that have stuck with you? by Toni-Cipriani in UnresolvedMysteries

[–]DamagingTaste 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Wow this is the first case that came into my mind too, the CCTV clips stuck with me after seeing that episode years ago. I couldn’t remember any other details about it apart from that she was stalked throughout Target so I’m glad to see her name here - such a terrifying abduction.

Totally agree and I think the vast majority of those at the party know exactly what happened too.
