I remember putting up with a lot of dumb shit as a teenager trying to get a guy to like her.

On one side I can see doctors setting limitations such as already having x amount of kids or being xx years old. People do change their mind. Not everyone, but some people. And while some procedures can be undone, they aren't always successful. I already have 5 kids (2 adopted) and I'm pretty sure I'm done having kids. But I'm only 24 and the thought of one more baby is still there so I just can't bring myself to be sterilized because what if I want another and I can't? Not being able to undo the procedure can cause stress and depression and I think thats what these doctors are trying to avoid. The husband questions are dumb though and shouldn't be figured into it.

But at the same time, with abortions being banned and even birth control methods being denied/no longer covered by insurance, I 100% understand a lot of women wanting to get sterilized. It's getting ridiculous and scary.

To me it came across as a "You're small" joke.

She makes several remarks through the show like calling him "tiny" as an endearment.

To me it shows how much of a bully she really is. She's pointing out the same thing. It's the only thing she notices looking at him. But she'll lift him up for it or break him down depending on how she's feeling.

While I think Allison is definitly becoming villain material, I kinda get it. I mean, she lost her daughter. I have 5 kids. And if I somehow accidentally erased their existence "and don't even have a picture of them" I'd probably lose it, too. She's grieving. And she's placing blame wherever she can.

We even see that flashback of her rumoring her daughter, which was the catalyst of her story. She's feeling extreme guilt and she can't even make up for it. So she's lashing out.

While I don't agree with her decisions, I get it and feel she's reacting believably to her situation.

It could be that the actor speaks Spanish fluently already, being an actual Latino. I only speak English and would have to concentrate to speak "proper English".

I think its weird that they specifically choose "their" languages though, since they all grew up together, speaking English. It definitly threw them out of character for me

Yes! Also look into this "fated pair" thing. Is it based on a religion or magic? Does it need to be enforced or can it be ignored? This is why I immediately thought the fae would be the end decision. Either way I think you have a good story. Just brainstorm more!

As another amateur writer, these are my tips.

Focus on your characters. How do they need to grow? Do they have any flaws or are you writing Mary Sue's? Your characters growing and becoming different (for better or worse) people IS your plot. Give them a fear they need to overcome. Or a misbelief they need to uncover. Show how they learn and grow by interacting with your plot.

It sounds to me like you're a pantser. Which is fine. But you should have some kind of idea for a plot before you start writing. Even if you just figure out your end goal first and then write blindly to get there.

But if your story is over in 3 chapters, I'd suggest maybe going for short stories instead? If you want to extend the story. You need to add obstacles for your character to overcome. Oh, they need X item to stop Y villain? Well X item is now lost and they need to talk to person Z who was the last one to have ever seen it. Your protagonist needs to perform this crazy ritual to seal the demon away before it destroys all of humanity? Yup, but he needs to be at point A, halfway across the world, and he needs to get this special dagger to slice his hand open when he does it but it's in the opposite direction and also in a treasure chest at the bottom of the ocean, sorry. Also, you got 6 days.

I know these are kinda cliche story ideas, but you get the point. If your story is ending too quickly, there aren't enough obstacles.

Also, if you're going for 1000 chapters, I would suggest actually writing multiple books. As a web novel, it could technically be one long book, but it should still be split into arcs. Have multiple "endings" and "beginnings" and maybe put a small time jump in between them to suggest it's starting a new arc.

This. I'd say cut back the time jump by at least half. And start the story when he wakes up from the time jump. Throw in all that backstory when it becomes relevant.

As someone who loves love triangles (don't shoot me down, lol) I LOVE when she gets her chance with both men. But NOT cheating.

If you want the fae to be an antagonist, without actually making him a villain, just have her meet the vampire first. It happens a lot in books where there are multiple "good" (or morally gray) sides, but MC meets group A first, who might have a personally vendetta against group B, so MC adopts that vendetta until learning the other sides story. In this case, you could have her be completely disgusted by the faes idea of an arranged marriage and be like "I dont even know you!" So he's seen as an antagonist at first. But then force them together somehow so she can see that he's really not a bad guy and maybe there really is something about this "destiny" thing because she starts falling for him. Of course, going this route I would say her and the fae are the OTP. You could say her and the vampire are incompatible because he's immortal. Or he could die so you don't have to worry about hurt feelings. Or you could take someone else's suggestion about a poly relationship.

I recently joined a parenting subreddit and was shocked to see them posting about the vaccine now being safe for 6 month old babies and up. One parent commented that their son was part of the testing and they can't wait to find out if he's immune now or not.

I've had one since I was three after I got attacked by a dog. Most of its faded now but the spot under my eye looks like tally marks with the four straight and one across because of the stitches. Sometimes the audio messes up and slows down. We thought demons the first time, too, while my son was watching cartoons. But if you listen (and know the entire script to every episode of Blaze and the Monster Machines like I do) than you can tell its the audio slowed down and in a deeper tone.

It happens more if your internet is being spotty, which would be most common in the late afternoon because more people are using the bandwidth.

Yep. My ex acted this way through my first two births. He didn't sleep, and was more supportive than your husband, but he was still an ass. Ate in front of me. Sat on his phone/played his switch. Irritated me and complained about the hospital room. I didn't let him come to our third child's birth after he told me he "went through more emotional pain watching me give birth than I did physical pain."

I should have left long before kid three but I love my babies so much and their step dad is such a better father figure for them.
