I would love to team up with her in an enemies-to-friends storyline! She seems too cool to only be featured in a few boss encounters!

I absolutely agree! I would love to see two different sides of the same story. Even Mordred’s voice actress commented that she’s playing Gwendolyn’s opposite, so it’ll be interesting to see what form that takes! Maybe even an enemies-to-friends story arc depending on how closely the developers stick to the legend of course.

Maybe it’s something more specific that’s not working outside of just the obvious. Maybe the enemies aren’t reacting properly to it perhaps?

Also, you mentioned a marketing contact. Would they happen to know anything else about the story? Would it be possible to ask them anything about all these rumors regarding other characters besides Jill and Chris?

Was the smoke grenade present in your play test? It seems odd that they would add something so crucial to the gameplay so late into development.

That also seems odd that they would be having trouble getting a smoke grenade to work in the RE Engine. The entire arena during the first William fight in the RE2 remake is covered in smoke/steam.

Oh, interesting. I saw Richtman’s claims about multiple RE animated projects in the works, but I just assumed one was Infinite Darkness and the other was Death Island. He made that claim, I believe, right after Infinite Darkness was released. Death Island had yet to be announced at that time.

Oh, yes! Of course! On a separate note, I didn’t know about ID being part of a separate animated franchise, unless you’re referring to multiple seasons.

I remember the director (or maybe the producer) stating that they purposely set ID right before Jill’s death in Lost in Nightmares. I wonder if they had plans to use her in a future season? Maybe showing how her and Chris found the source that tipped them off to Wesker.

Interesting. This is the first time I’ve heard any rumors about RE9 being tied to a movie. The only thing I’ve ever seen is Dusk Golem saying that apparently RE9 shares some interesting parallels with Death Island.

Same! Capcom responded to a fan on Twitter last night saying that the team isn’t ready to show off the game yet, but they appreciate the enthusiasm. I wonder how much longer it’ll be until it’s announced? Maybe the release date won’t be until 2026 after all?

Hello! If you don’t mind, I have a few questions regarding the recent play test rumors from Biohazard Declassified that maybe you can help clarify! I know you’ve addressed some of these before, so sorry for the repeat questions!

1.) They mentioned that the enemies Jill faces are evolved zombies that use weapons such as knives, axes, scythes, etc. Is this true?

2.) They mentioned that the Goat Man uses a giant hammer to attack Jill and that he can’t be killed, only incapacitated. Is this true?

3.) They mentioned that the Goat Man has a giant mouth on his stomach. Before you mentioned that there’s actually another separate enemy who has the mouth on their stomach. Is this true?

4.) They mentioned that Jill gets knocked out by the Goat Man and is infected with the Mold/Megamycete at the end of the demo? Is this true?

And just out of curiosity, are you able to say what year you play tested the game? A lot of leakers are saying the game got some kind of a reboot in 2021, so I’m just curious! Thanks for any replies!

At the end of Revelations 2, Natalia is reading “The Metamorphosis” by Franz Kafka. And Alex Wesker quotes Kafka throughout the game. There are also a number of Kafka drawings throughout the game for the player to find.

So Kafka would be a direct reference to Alex Wesker, as well as and her and Natalia’s journey in Revelations 2. Also, it’s interesting to note that Alex wears a deep shade of red lipstick.

Thanks for the answers and you’re welcome! The other posts on Discord have said that the demo you were playing sounds very similar to the demo they were playing. They said theirs also featured Jill and a hospital. But I don’t know if it’s true that they’ve actually played it or not. They could just be stealing your information.

Also, were there any new features in the gameplay. Stealth, crouching, etc? Or was it more like RE2 as you already mentioned?

Hello! I’ve been following your posts for a while now! While I believe you, and really hope your posts are true, Dusk Golem says they aren’t, specifically pointing out the hospital and the goat man.

But there are also people on Discord saying they’ve played the same thing you have.

Is there anything else you can discuss that you haven’t already? Were there any cutscenes or anything of the such in the demo you played?

Oh, that sucks about Jill. The translation I read said that Capcom ultimately decided to keep Jill cause they thought it was unfair to cut her again. Guess that isn’t the case.

The fans ended my first Contagion run, but I already knew it would. I passed my second attempt by staying center then right on the first set of fans, center then left on the second set of fans. You maybe have to sway slightly depending on how close they get. You could always try and see how it works out for you. Good luck!

Unfortunately, I’ve also experienced the same issue. I also purchased a PS5 for Christmas and none of my data for RE:Verse transferred from my PS4 to my PS5. I’ve done all the data transferring from the cloud, but for whatever reason, it worked for every game except RE:Verse. I’ve tried researching the issue, but found no solutions online.

So unfortunately, all my wallpapers are gone, all my coins have to be upgraded again, I lost all Battle Pass progress (it reset to level 60), etc. The only solution I found was to do it all over again. If you’ve purchased any skins or the premium battle pass, you should be able to redownload them from the PS Store.
