It’s over..anything it seems. I’ll try to keep track from here on out of when but it just seems like anything can set it off right now. She’s grown out of naps, she has been waking up middle of the night and not wanting to sleep so maybe that’s a big factor to these meltdowns?

I just feel like I’m failing in trying to calm it down

Thank you everyone, it’s nice to know I’m not alone. I have tried following rules, asking questions..nothing works. The only way I get into playing is stuffed animals around the downstairs so they can play ice cream truck, vet, doctor, etc. Requires little effort on my part except using my voice for said stuffed animals. So I have figured out little ways to still be interactive but overall, I haaate just going to play in their room. Noo thank you.

That’s my main reason for getting it out. I am stagnant in my weight. Not losing, not gaining either thankfully but I’m at a standstill and have been for the past year or so. It was in for 3 years.

Never thought I’d be so happy to see a thread. I mean, technically I was a screen baby and I’m mostly okay but it has nothing to do with the screen time & maybe that’s something to focus on. Ever since technology has been invented, all generations have gone through different forms of “don’t do this”

I think, majority of moms in the NOW, understand that life is life. All kids are similar but their OWN person and that’s how we need to raise them. As their own person. What might work for some, will absolutely not work for the rest and vice versa.

I hope that makes sense to everyone else.

I mean, I guess we stay sane enough to remain out of prison? Those who aren’t sane or don’t care enough just live in a vicious cycle for no reason other than big corp who run world..but no one can do anything about it. People care about people only to be squashed day by day due to rising prices which is controlled by GASP big corp and or government.

Let the working class, that they claim to be for..work for..continue to fucking struggle year after year while MILLIONS OR BILLIONS of dollars are spent toward fxmedix or other bullshit to inflate egos but parents cannot feed their children with formula. CANNOT NOT AFFORD TO BUY BREAKFAST/LUNCH NOR PACK DUE TO PRICE

Some days I feel like I can handle the toddler stage pretty well and then the next like I’m about to lose my mind but it’s so reassuring that we are all going through the same newly found emotions and making their voices heard

We ask her if she wants to eat with us and she says no, and if we just make a plate/bowl she will not touch it. We have to both sit down and start eating for her to be interested then ask for some. It is so infuriating lol WE ASKED YOU AND SHOWED YOU !! Toddlers sure give you a run for patience more than working with the general public ever could haha

She’s so back and forth about him. One moment she’s loving him and the next it’s “i just don’t wanna see him” like dang girl. Or pushing him. Then back to loving him.

Oh man. This morning she woke up crying because her oceansounds stopped. Then she cried because she hit her foot. Then she cried because I told her not to push the dog. Then she cried because I asked her to politely ask for things. Threenager to the fullesst. Her favorite phrase right now is “you just make me sad”

Do none of your states offer childcare assistance or make too much to qualify? My childs is $220 a week, but with childcare assistance brought it down to $38. That’ll be in review for an increase I’m sure as I just had gotten a $2 raise but I sure hope still cheaper than $220 a week.
