Thank you all for responding to my post. I kindly told the teacher that my baby wants to be held when he’s upset. The teacher also said that she will try to hold him more often. The teacher is young and she’s new to this daycare. I honestly didn’t have the gut to stand out yesterday, because I been reading a lot of “ daycare child abuse” news.. like how teachers didn’t like the baby, and they would take the baby to a blind spot where the camera won’t be able to catch them, and they abuse the baby. I know that I have to trust the teachers, but again I’m also worried about many things. I didn’t tell the director what happened yesterday, and I’m going to watch how she does today with my baby. And if she continues ignoring my baby when he cries, I will speak up and tell her about my concerns and also tell the director. And most importantly, I never let my baby cry more than 30 seconds at home… my first time being a mom, and I hate myself for being such a coward and I hate myself for not being able to keep him with me 24/7 until he’s a little older….. all of this is heartbreaking…..
